Depends what exactly you mean by "cheesy"...but I'd have to say the cheesiest moment of the entire series is when Padme and Anakin are rolling around in the fields in Attack of the Clones. (Or perhaps one of C3PO's quips in AOTC)

Little Anakin flying into the Federalist droid control ship by accident and destroying it. It was lame when it first started, what with the ship accidentally taking off and flying over there yadda yadda. But Anakin's quips and Jake Lloyd's horrendous acting made it worse. "Yippee!" "Now this is podracing!"

The "Are you an angel?" dialouge was pretty horribly cheesy too.

Atleast little Anakin didn't say "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

"she... she lost the will to live." laaaaaaame. ROTS.

^^ that would have been better.... at least we would have know it was suppose to be cheesy... not accidently cheesy.

I agree, especially the part about the Trade Federation ship.

What's worse is Anakin 'accidently' pushing all the buttons, in the right order, to get the Naboo Starfighter safely airborne.

what they should have done.

ANAKIN presses random buttoms. A red light starts to flash.

ANAKIN
R2, I think I did something bad.

The naboo starfighter explodes.

ANAKIN climbs in and pushes random buttons, the starfighter's engines fire up as it begins to fly away.

ANAKIN
Uhh...it's on automatic pilot!

The fighter continues to climb higher and faster

ANAKIN
R2! How do....I close....the....can't.....breathe.....

ANAKIN dies from hypoxia.

Vader breaking out of the restraints for the first time like frickin' Frankenstein. That was cheesy.

Anything Jar Jar related is also pretty cheesy.

Atleast little Anakin didn't say "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

He should have used the line from KOTOR-- "If I said you had a nice body, would you hold it against me?"

But really, the cheesiest scenes were the Anakin/Padme romance scenes in AOTC: Rolling in the fields, the fireplace sequence, etc.

any scene between Padme and Anakin in any movie. Their love story was suppose to be a huge part of the PT but it fell flat everytime. Making Anakin's turn to the darkside a bit unbelivable.

Actually it wasnt on accident he knew the buttons and was faking it. ( i guess to make his concious feel better). Remember even though it is a big diffrence he did race pods.

That and the "Noooooooo!" shattered the cheese-o-metre in my opinion.

Kind of sad that James Earl Jones turned out to be a worse actor than Natalie Portman in ROTS!

1. "I hate you" - Anakin/Darth Vader near the end of ROTS. Obi-Wan was trying to convince him that what he had become evil and he was his brother, and all Anakin could say was "I hate you"...that its?!

2. "You're breaking my heart" - Padme

3. All of Anakin's whining in AOTC.

I don't agree. I thought that was going to be bad, but hey if I was exhausted, just had my legs cut off and was about to catch fire I don't think I'd have it in me to think of some witty one liner. I thought he said it with enough anger in his voice for it to be ok.

Cheesy moments for me are anything Little Anakin says in TPM and pretty much any love scene in the entire PT.

Sucks too cause Portman is usually a pretty solid actress..

It's a toss up between any one of Anakin's lines in TPM or AOTC, (the worst being in the battle at the end of TPM and "It's all Obi-Wan's fault!") and Jar Jar's jump into the lake in TPM.

Was I too much into SW ecstacy by the time of the nefarious "Noooo" as not to find it cheesy?
Personally, I found the "No, Anakin, *I* love you more" dialogue in ROTS cheesy, as well as every love scene in AOTC. Also, the Tarzan yell was cheesy and Yoda's "Not if anything to do with it, I have" line.

Personally I had no problem with the 'No', rather the over dramatic position he puts himself in when he says it.

The cheesiest moments clearly were Vader the way he walked after he got off the table but i suppose his new legs had to be akward. The second cheesiest thing was IN A.O.T.C when Obi Was taken out by Dooku so easily. I also suppose that was the same cheesy part in R.O.T.S too.

I know what you mean, but it's a big moment. Anakin thought he became the most powerful jedi, even more powerful than Obi-Wan. It's a turning point for him, cause till then he kicked everyones ass, but he go whopped in this one. Ah well, maybe I'm expecting too much, or maybe "I hate you" sounded too childish.

Miasma

I thought "I hate you" worked well. That was what he was feeling at that point-- raw hatred. Much better for him to just blurt it out than for him to recite some flowery AOTC-style prose ("I am forever scarred by the hatred that stirs within my soul. It is tearing apart my very being. I wish I could just wish away my hatred.")

I didn't think Vader busting out of the restraints for the time time and taking a couple of frankenstein steps was cheesy. I actually like it a lot. That was the first time he ever walked on 2 mechanical legs. I'd like to see you do any better ;)

Anakin Skywalker WAS a child. A child mentally and emotionally, that is. He was indecisive and nowhere near mature in his choices. Thus, it fits.
