I don't have many, I'm more into sci-fi and horror, but thought this would be easier. Lets see, in no order there: The naked gun series, National Lampoon's Animal House and Vacation Series, Liar,Liar, The Waterboy,All the Mel Brooks flicks(like,Young Frankenstein,Blazing Saddles,Spaceballs,etc.). That's all I can think of at the time. What's your favs?

i don't know... to me the movie wasn't nearly as funny as the tv show, especially the pod people episode "oh look... a winged potato!"

Two things, 1. Pod People is the worst episode ever IMO (dear god, how many times do they have to do that lame "Cheif? McCloud!" running gag?). 2. Even if it wasn't nearly as funny as the TV show, it's still way funnier than nearly every other comedy out there.

um, have you even SEEN Pulp Fiction? It's one of the funniest movies of all time! It might be about criminals (hence be put in the "crime" or "drama" section), but it is a comedy. QT said it's a comedy, and it's funny in every scene (except the taxi cab one, bleh).
Kind of like how Braindead is a comedy. Actually that goes on my list too.
ah, you ppl reminded me of these classics:
Dr. Strangelove
Pulp Fiction
Police Acadamy movies

I also forgot to mention "So I Married An Axe Murdered" - great film.
Phantomstranger has hit the nail on the head - Abbot & Costello films are in a class of there own.
Abbot & Costello meet Frankenstein is the best but you also have them meeting the Mummy, Dr.Jekyle & Mr.Hyde, The killer Boris Karloff and the Invisible Man.
Now these are classic comedies.
"axe murdurer" was definatly under-rated.

What about Cable Guy with Jim Carrey that was pretty funny.
P.S. Dan! Top Secret was the first film Val Kilmer starred in (don't let that put you off - LOL) it's an airplane like comedy but set in the war era - very funny.

Office Space
South Park: Bigger longer uncut
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Kingpin
Add "Pulp Fiction" and "Fargo" if considering dark comedies too.

Did anyone think Return Of The Living Dead 1 & 2 were kind of funny? On part 1, Zombie kills paramedic, radios "send more paramededics". Part 2, zombie boyfriend "Your brains smell so spicy". Zombie head says,"Get that Dam screw driver out out of my head". Dancing Michael Jackson zombie at end of 2.

Thats not saying much.
I tend to agree, I'm not a fan of Travolta's dancing movies, so, pretty much all that's left is Pulp Fiction and a lot of his other crap that I despise.
