Has anyone read the books and know how, when and why Anikin turns to the dark side? I mean what are his motives? The other question is, how does he get all screwed up and made to wear the vader suit, exactly how does this happen, and who is he fighting when it does? I know these sound like dumb questions, so I'll admid, I don't know crap about star wars, so please help this poor uneducated soul.....

Nothing's been confirmed yet, but rumors are that Anakin gets his injuries from a gardening accident.

Anakin/Vader gets his suit after falling into a lava pit during a duel with Obi Wan. This is the only thing that keeps him alive. In a rough draft Lucas made years ago, it's the Emperor who saves Anakin from death but what he does to keep him alive while getting his new body is unclear. As for his reasons for finally turning to the Dark Side, it still isn't clear exactly what pushes him over the edge.

You're kidding right? That's what the little movie called Episode III is for in May. It explains all of this.

There are no books on this because the film hasn't come out yet.
