I hope somebody can help me on this.

I'm looking to see whether I can locate any earlier posts from here in this site. Would Google be able to track them down?

I just want to read over our impressions when we learned who was gonna play who etc like Christopher Lee being chosen for Saruman or Billy Boyd for Pippen. People wanting to know who the heck Orlando Bloom was at the time stuff like that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Damn. Oh well.

Anyway how did everybody react when they learned that so and so was gonna be whoever that character was at the time.

Did anybody have any other suggestions or preferred somebody else to play somebody.

Their reactions to Stuart Townsend departure from the movie etc.

Anybody care to reflect upon that time.

Oh great they're all there. Cheers Moose.

I believe that filming for Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe will be around your neck of the woods about now. I believe they've all left Auckland. My old man was delivering bread and muffins to Lamp Post for the past 4 months. Catering and all that you know.

heh, cool stuff FVD

they've been working around Flock Hill for a while. i think that it's been going for the last few months, but i think that's only for set construction. there was a thing in the paper the other day about some people complaining that they had destroyed some of then environment.

but they also said that when LOTR was being filmed, no permamant effect was left on the landscape. hehe

Yeah it reminds me of using Mt Sunday for the Edoras set. They say it was like nothing ever took place there. The film crew did a great job of putting everything back in it's place.

yep, true. but not quite so with Narnia. even though there is a NZer, Andrew Adamson, at the helm, it just goes to show that PJ and LOTR were something special

Yup I'm really hoping that Adamson can truly step to the plate with the Narnia movies. At least Weta are involved. Wasn't John Howe originally gonna be involved?

Off topic. It's also interesting that Alan Lee is working as Conceptual Designer for King Kong. He must have enjoyed working for PJ.
