I came up with this plot, and i wanted to ask you guys to see if it is good or wacko-crazy...

about 20 years after Jack Torrence and family experience the deadliest hotle stay ever, a group of four teenagers dare themselves to stay one night in the hotel, but the spirits that haunt it still remain, and they attack with a vengence driving the teens mad, just like Jack. One would be the all out leader who would go the most insane and like Jack attempt to kill the others.

huh? good? bad? needs work? You have ideas? Do tell....

All work and no play makes jack a dull boy...

Sounds to me like a dopey teen horror movie. Not that I liked The Shining in the first place (thought it was awful).

sounds exactly like the first movie with a 20th century spin on it, i don't like it, and it would kill the first movie, keep it as a classic. that is sorta like halloween:ressurection, it's just stupid. no offense, keep working, haha

To begin with a sequel to The Shining is a BAD idea and you story is quite weak, I mean its needs a little originality.

that's what i thought. i wasn't trying to get this made. I thought it was a bad idea popping into my head, and i wanted to get an opinion. I apprciate it. :)

Well judging from my avatar, The Shining is my favorite film of all time. I think it's brilliant and a classic. Jack rocks!!!!!! A sequel to it most likely wouldn't be successful and more of a B type of movie.
