Movies cant be perfect. No movies are perfect.Even the so called "Classics" or the "Best" movies have flaws.Cheesy lines, bad camera moves, bad acting, cheesy moments, you name it.

So what are some of the really bad scenes from the best movies ever?

Pulp Fiction is my favourite movie. But I hated the cab scene with Esmerelda. I just found her annoying, and I think that all from when Walken's watch speech is over until Butch gets to the apartment boring.

It's a necessary scene, but I just didn't like it.

I hate the scenes in LOTR when the hobbits unit and there is a lot of touching. They even touch each other on the stomach. I hate that.

Some of Elijah Woods acting in LOTR is realy irritating sometimes.

Warren
11-05-2004, 07:39 PM
Yeah, I also hated how it seemed like every few minutes in TTT or ROTK Frodo would turn back, say something to Sam, Sam replies by slightly changing what Frodo said, they'd smile, Frodo would turn back around and they'd keep walking. That got irritating.

When Aragorn fell off the cliff was one of the worst scenes ever imo. Not that I really liked the movie in general, but that scene was terrible.

I have to agree.Although i like the scene with him saving the black guy(Forgot his name).I like that bit.Other than that it was like you said, boring. Why cant Quentin make a movie completely on Jules and Vincent?

Yeah I have to agree. Have you seen the "extended version" of this scene? It's the same but a little longer with more of Wills' heavy breathing. I wanted to punch QT for putting this in as a "feature". (It's still my favorite movie though :D )

PsYkOoOoO
11-05-2004, 10:34 PM
Ive never seen the extended version. But i sure want to see more of Vincent and Jules. They are so bloody hilarious together.

This is not exactly a "Scene",but i didnt like the scenes without Marlon Brando in the GodFather.I think he got shot too early in the movie.I prefered scenes with him(Save for the one when Michael shoots the two guys in thhe restaurant).

Warren
11-06-2004, 08:49 AM
I agree that Brando had the best parts in the Godfather, but I thought all the others were excellent too. That movie is near-perfect.

I thought of some more.

Psycho- After the shower scene, I thought the scene where Norman cleaned up was just a bit too long. Having one of the best scenes in movie history followed up by such an overlong scene is a bad move, I think.

The Bridge on the River Kwai- The early scene with the soldiers marching and whistling. They whistled that annoying f**king song for too god damn long.

Forrest Gump- I hate the one line "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get". Just annoying how it's such a remembered line.

I knwo what you mean, the scene was very forced and cliche...grabbing the goblin and asking about him about Aragorn...like the goblin would give a crap.

Every Ent (The trees) scene in TTT.

As for Pulp Fiction, I have to agree about the taxi scene. But than again, IMHO, QT is extremely overrated. I am not really all that find of any of his movies expect Pulp Fiction.

Glad someone shares my pain. I was watching that and like 30 seconds later I had to check if I had gotten the right movie or just hobbit porn.

Alright, thats a little exaggerated, but really, eww :nono:

i have a best scene in a bad movie...that would be the pteranadon scene in jp3

getting back to the topic at hand, another bd scene in a great movie would be the scene in saving private ryan when caparso tries to take the little girl to the next town...not a bad scene, but the whole time i was thinking, "dude, this is just not a smart move, what are you doing?"...it just bugs the hell outta me

I didn't like the last scene of Kill Bill Vol. 2. Not so much that I would change it, but just how it was executed. Perhaps Uma's crying/laughing was a little unsettling for some reason.

Im gonna get brutalized for this but I like The Matrix Revolutions a lot but the scene towards the end when the kid said, "Neo, I believe" it just completely killed any joy i could have gotten out of the rest of the movie...terrible, terrible line

The happy ending tacked on to My Fair Lady. I understand they didn't want to use the original ending to Shaw's play, and I didn't mind Eliza going back to Henry, but that look by Henry as he sinks into his chair knowing that he has won and demanding where his slippers are.

I see the LOtR movies are getting alot of shout outs,as well they should,as great as those movies are, they're all loaded to the brim with cliche's,bad acting, and useless sub plots.

But outside of LOtR what about the worst line EVER in any movie, let alone a good one.
"do you know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning, !!!ZAP!!! same thing that happens to everything else" (Storm in Xmen)

Another horrible one is...

or the scene between storm and nightcrawler in X2 on the jet wen they are talking about sins. For some reason it always gets to me.

LOTR - Legolas bringing down the oliphant by himself. granted, i haven't read ROTK, but this scene seems fake to me. Really fake. Also, although it was a funny part of the movies, the constant comparing of killings between legolas and gimli annoyed me. they took a single line from the book and turned it into an entire section. (but then again, they did the same with Arwen)

And here is where i get yelled at. (Starting by saying fight club is my favourite movie) i hate the last line of fight club "You met me at a really strange point in my life" ... any one who has read the book would know why i prefer the book ending better. Wow

Legolas line in Return of The King- A deversion (ANNOYINGGGG!!)

Eowyn in ROTK- I'm no man AHHH ! - please stop

Samwise gamgee repeating his lines twice, this happens a lot in the trilogy

The little bratt in Man on Fire- Look at how good and realistic my acting is, just bla! She's playing in War of The Worlds, well god save me!

Predator -Mother****er!! - What? How could he have known that, those creatures only repeat lines (and I totally missed this in AVP, where were those spooky sounds, they didn't even bother creating new sounds for the preddies, they just stole it from the other movies)

Pippin- The eagles are coming! - hmmm yeah and they are flying!

Mouth Of Sauron scene- There should be an option to leave this scene out of the EE, so useless and dumb.

Another thing that annoys me(I DO like lord of the rings!) is the huge amount of 'fake death scenes' in LOTR, Gandalf dies, oh no he does live, frodo dies- ow no he had his mitrill vest on, frodo dies, ow no he is just paralized, frodo dies... does he?

Going way back to "Raiders of the Lost Ark", where they escape the temple with the snakes. Indy pushes the huge, heavy, stone slab out of the way and you can tell in the shadow that it BOUNCES on the sand.

The Zion dancing/rave scene in Matrix Reloaded.

It was more or less near the beginning of the movie, and that was the moment I had the feeling the movie was going to be a disappointment.

Wall Street - the scene where Martin Sheen is yelling at Charlie Sheen on the elevator after the meeting at his apartment. The acting is so bad in that scene is umcomfortable to watch.
