LOTR sightings in unexpected places

Was walking my grandson on University Ave in Berkeley CA Saturday night. Ath the corner of San Pablo I glanced into the Wells Fargo branch and was surprised to see Gandalf the White staring back at me...I approached the glass door to try and figure this out and noticed he was not alone...a life-size cardboard Aragorn accompanied him :D

Any one else had a similar experience? Or are such eccentricities exclusive to Berserkly?

Yes. Legolas was standing at the front door and Aragorn was standing at the back door. This was at the San Anselmo Wells Fargo.

Well as you know I live in Wellington, New Zealand and when you g oto the airport theres a huge Gollum statue on the roof and a lot of actual costumes on display.
Apart from that any bookstore you go into has cardboard cut outs etc, mind you I went into one bookstore and they had a cut out of PJ (the one where hes sitting in the chair with the pipe) I nearly wet my pants thinking I d get the chanceto meet one of my hero's but then realised it wasnt real

LOL!! i was in the cd/video store FYE and i was walking and when i got too the back there was a dirty cut in half legolas full size cut out it was against a wall, very wierd

You New Zealanders just have to rub it in. :) Here we are going ga-ga over a life-size poster and you guys have all kinds of stuff over there.

I liked when I was wondering through the mall and came upon a weapons shop and almost every knife and sword was from the LOTR trilogy and it wasn't like a special sale or anything either. That just makes up most of their stock now. I will buy them....
