psycho II

i was quite suprised with this film. i may be alone in thinking it was a great film. it had a great story to it and if you havent seen it you should rent it. if you have seen it what did you think of it.

plot: In this sequel to Hitchcock's 1960 classic, Norman Bates has finally been judged mentally sound and released from the mental institution where he has been for 22 years. Lila Loomis, the sister of Marion Crane who was murdered in the shower 22 years before, protests fiercely over his release. Then Norman sees his mother in the window of the Bates mansion and the murders start happening again. But this time it isn't Norman... or is it?

I liked it , I actually liked all the Psycho Films , I really liked the 4th part too but nothing beats the original.

Psycho II was a pretty good film but not as good as the first IMO.

I remember watching that years ago , that was a pilot for a supposed "Psycho" TV series.Lord knows how they could of pulled that off each week.

One Dismal Unnecessary Remake of Psycho was enough.

the remake was nearly the same thing with the peaple talking the same words but faster

my favorite part of PII is the very end with the shovel lol. Makes me chuckle just a bit every time :)

I watched Psycho II alot as a kid, I really liked it. I seen it before I ever seen the original. I liked the shovel part also. I don't recall if I ever saw III but I do recall seeing one where Norman calls into a Radio Talk show retelling his life and the kid that played Elliot in ET played the younger Norman Bates. Which one was that?

Yes Psycho IV : The Beginning was the Psycho Prequel , It was a Showtime Made for Cable film but it was great.
