NOTE:
This is a public poll, but I am only doing this once. Just to experiment with our new feature. I'll probably not be doing this again.

This is a public poll. We can all see what you voted for. If you're gonna post then try explaining why you voted. I voted for Superman because every male child wants to be Superman and William's score capture the spirit and joy of the character.

This is probably one of the toughest polls I have seen in all of my 3 months on here. I could have went so many ways, but in the end I took E.T.
Jurassic Park...
When I go on dinosaur-gazing expeditions, I always enjoy popping it in the CD player.

Jaws is the greatest theme in movie history. This was an easy choice.

Well a lot of those movies themes are great. They hold a special place in my heart, or at least the "Movie Score Section" of my heart, but as for an entire OVERALL score, I really liked "Catch Me If You Can" (so I voted other).

Tough choices, almost went with Jaws, it's classic. But Indy's theme has been popping into my head somewhat frequently for the past 15 years, it's just beyond great.

I would pick Star Wars, because the theme really helped change movies forever, and heralded the big blockbuster summer movies.

Return of the Jedi
mainly because of the following pieces of music: The Emporer Arrives/Death of Yoda/Obi-Wan's Revelation
The Battle of Endor I(Into the Trap,Forest Ambush,Scout Walker Scramble,Prime Weapon Fires)
The Battle of Endor II(Leia is Wounded, The Duel Begins,Overtaking the Bunker,The Dark Side Beckons, The Emporers Death)
Battle of Endor III(Superstruction Chase, Darth Vaders Death,The Main Reactor)
The Light of the Force.

phantom menace should win hands down. it has all the original music which is great then it has the duel of fates which is just awsome. that the song they played when the jedi and sith were fighting. and then the ending song is so kool. its just gret music

This is such a hard choice. I think I own almost all of these scores. Every one has wonderful elements - Jaws theme, E.T.'s flying theme (I DO cry like a baby), Jurassic Park's themes, Indy's theme and those for the Ark and the Grail, I could go on.....
But in the end I chose Star Wars, for the grandness of the fanfare, the adventure, and for one moment - when the Force theme plays wistfully as Luke gazes at the Tatooine suns.

Jaws is the greatest theme in movie history. This was an easy choice.
In terms of a movie theme it's definitely up there, but as for the entire score/soundtrack that's a slightly different matter IMO. Certainly a toughchoice for me between Jaws, ET, JP and SW. I'd porbably just pick Jaws though because it is one of those iconic, once in a lifetime themes.

where's ep:2 on the poll?
I picked Return of the Jedi (but this was very hard) ROTJ has elements from all the Star Wars films. Classic Themes.
I do however love his score for Star Wars ep:2 and can't wait to hear what he comes up with for ep:3

I only have room for 20 choices and that is why I have the "OTHER" option. You like Star Wars? I thought you hated old movies.
