whu?? how is arnie a good guy in the first film? He's all bad, all ass, all badass.

T-2 is the best.

thats not what i meant. i meant that hes an intimidating good guy but when he plays a bad guy like in t-1 he doesnt have the bad guy intimidation. and he had maybe 10 lines in that movie.

That makes zero sense, my friend

There are too many Terminator threads anyway. Try the search.

I understand what you mean: Arnold doesn't work well as a bad guy.

T3... I loved them all. But there's something about T3.

The original was the best. Much darker and felt more tense as the heros never feel like winning. T2 was great too, but it had Edward Furlong. T3 was pretty good considering its a part 3. Great action scenes at the beginning, but is let down in the second half by a dull climax and predicatable ending.

I agree with most of what this guy said. You just can't beat the original, it was great. I actually kind of thought that the liquid metal dude from T2 was sort of lame...just didn't really like him as an enemy. The chick from T3 was pretty cool, but there wasn't that great of an improvement, and T3 wasn't very good at all. The only thing I liked about it is how it progressed the story, and I'm anxious to see the next Terminator titles.

The liquid guy was far from lame, he was a badass.

Count me in also. I just love the original. T2 is a great movie, but there is something about the first one that I enjoy so much more. I think it's the casting...just PERFECT (Arnold, Linda, and Michael), and the originality of the story and the feel. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the film will be rereleased in theaters for the 20th anniversary...which is coming very soon. :frown:

I thought T3 is a good film, too. I for one like Stahl as the young adult Connor, better than Furlong would have been. Still skeptical about having him play the old Connor though (Furlong also). But this film definitely lacks the Terminator-feel to it. A good action flick nonetheless.
