I don't know if this has already been discussed, but I'm still getting used to the upgrade, so I haven't figurered out the new search engine.

From Wizard Magazine:
All the fans wanna know: Is there more "Army of Darkness" on the way?
These things just percolate, die and come back to life based on filmmakers' interest and attention span. Freddy and Jason, those things kind of roll along because they were made with one studio, but the three "Evil Dead" movies were made by three different companies...

I know that there's lots of rumors about "Jason vs. Freddy vs. Ash," but at the end of the day, you've got three companies with one franchise, so it's all lawyers juggling these balls.
If it did go down, would you whoop all their asses?
I wouldn't sign a contract that wouldn't guarantee it. I mean seriously, think about it, would you go back to get your ass kicked? [Laughs] I don't think so. You want the best lines and you want to be the last guy standing.

I would loose respect for Bruce if he did this movie. Sounds funny and all, but it would destroy everything. It would be so horrable.

^ I'd prefer he didn't get involved with Freddy vs. Jason. In fact nobody should! It was special the first time. No reason for a sequel. As for Bruce, if he did end up making it i wouldn't loose respect for him. I support almost every film Bruce does. It's just i don't feel Freddy vs. Jason 2 is right for him.

It will only be right if he killed both of them and New Line agreed not to make anymore sequels. Then we could have Ash vs. Michael Myers and kill the Halloween franchise.
