It's taken from the teaser posters , the "legs" were already there.
There were two original posters , one with Freddy looking through jason's legs and the other with jason looking through freddy's.
The posters were just combined to make one.

It was a disgrace for both characters... made for kiddies to laugh and talk about "I always wanted to see them fight... wow!!"...

I wanted a ****ing horror movie, is that so hard to achieve nowdays?? Dont make it psychological, make an old school gritty scary teen slasher if you want to show respect to those characters!!!

The poster is pretty cool, give him some credit for being bored and doing it on the fly. And no kidding VS. movies are nothing new. It's the concept that counts!

Thats why people like FvsJ so much... too young to know what a real horror slasher is and also never grew up with those characters to like them... FvsJ could have be a great movie if done horror out of it instead of making it a comedy in order to get more people see it. Freddy from the first Nightmare was the best, really scary mofo, I still get creeps when thinking of those dream sequences with little girl singing THE song... you have seen only glimps of him and his shadow... enough to cause endless nightmares to me and my friends ...

Jason isnt quite my favorite, I apreciate Myer much more for his subtile methods, which are IMO by far scarier... but Jason is the slasher in person. Thats what he does, causing panic and horror because they know there is no way they can escape him.

Having them going at each other should have been just a small part of the story, them both slashing through some DECENT story, keeping it gritty and scary.... maybe it would have worked. Having those both icons at their best, not funniest...

Yeah but Chuck Russell killed Freddy's character when he directed Part 3.
He was also the same guy to change the Mask Script from Horror to Comedy and cast Jim Carrey.It was supposed to be Gritty and dark like the original comics.
Sometimes it's the director that makes the mistakes.

Of course its the director who makes the movie and FvsJ was also crippled. Script wasnt good, Ive laughed half way through this movie because of stupid ideas and dialogues...

Freddy Vs Jason was a Great movie. You just can't take it serious. It's a fun movie to watch. Seeing 2 of the biggest Horror Icons kill in the same movie. I think the problem with people is that if other people say ahh this movie sucks they have to agree. Reminds me of my Fiancee. We went to see the village with six other people on Friday. She fell asleep about five minutes into the movie. She woke up at the end. The majority of the people we went with said man that movie sucked. So my fiancee says that movie sucked. She didn't even see it. She always has to agree with the majority pisses me off.
