UPCOMING HORROR MOVIES (http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movies/drac3000.php)

It’s the year 3000 AD. A salvage ship on a routine interstellar mission discovers the drifting, silent hulk of the off-world space transporter Demeter, reported missing 100 years earlier. Excited by the prospects of quick financial gain from towing back and trading in the old vessel, Mina, Van Helsing and the rest of their crew boldly board the abandoned ship, hoping to recover any valuable freight left onboard.

But as they explore its cold, empty passageways, they become aware of a terrible secret. First Mina uncovers Demeter’s mysterious cargo – 50 long, black coffins. Then, one by one the crew begins to disappear or turn against one another, until there can be no doubt that an ancient curse lives on in the bowels of this once-great ship, awaiting its next victim.

In the blackness of space the sun never rises, the ideal environment for the immortal vampire to spread his evil. For the survivors, the only hope for salvation is a desperate race across the universe, rocketing at the speed of light, praying that they’ll reach the welcoming rays of the Twin Suns of Halbron…before it’s too late.

Fango is reporting that according to an Australian press release that the film will NOT be in 3-D like previously thought.

All I can say is "Crap"

The word we all used when we heard Jason was going to space and that was one enjoyable little flick.

But then again I have the bad taste in my mouth of Lep , The Critters and Pinhead being in space which will stick with me forever.

How could any movie "star" Coolio and Tiny "ZEUS" Lister? And why does Tiny Lister need two nicknames? And why..well..why are they bothering making this?

Poor Casper , Once said to be "HOT" prior to Starship Troopers now he makes more direct to video crap than Seagal or Van Damme.
At least he's working I guess.

He's playing Van Helsing , could he be worse than Jackman ?

I personally liked Van Helsing. But THIS, god why do they always have to go into space?

The word we all used when we heard Jason was going to space and that was one enjoyable little flick.

But that set us up for many prequels to Jason X to fill in the gaps and also a sequel for it........ hopefully they do this

But seriously why put Dracula in space? Next we'll have werewolves that change when the sun comes out or maybe Frankenstein's monster as a teenage girl who loves to go shopping, Frankensteen (I'll kill if someone bloody makes that now)

They never intended to do anything more with Jason X other than the one , it was a stand alone film , they just had to make some backstory to Tie in the fact they were using Jason's character.

But seriously why put Dracula in space?
Because they already put the Leprechaun there.lol.
