According to BD
It's never a surprise when a horror movie shifts its release date back a few weeks- or even months- it just always seems to happen exclusively to the horror genre. Well Fangoria confirms reports that The Ring 2 has been pushed back until an undetermined 2005 release, but the other date change is from a movie I bet you forgot about. Fangoria also reports that Touchstone Picture's Dark Water, a remake of an excellent Japanese horror film, has also been shifted to an undetermined 2005 release date. Suck suck and more suck...
Well so much for a Chucky vs. Ring battle!

I forgot they were even in the process of making the sequel so it's not such a big deal, there shouldn't be a sequel anyways but I'm interested to see how Dark Water turns out

Honestly The Ring 2 will be just another unnecassary sequel that will be inferior to the original so why are they bothering ?
I'll pass and I certainly wasn't waiting for ir anyways.

havent you guys been paying attention?!?! nakata is directing, and he is imo without a doubt the best horror director there is, i am damn pissed off about this.
and dark water is an amazing film that i have watched many times now and i still dont see why there needs to be a sequel to it, i gaurantee they will change the end and make this happy little thing:rolleyes:

They should not even make The Ring 2. I did not like the first one and most likely I will not watch the second.

So now The Ring 2 and Dark Water have been pushed back to 2005.
Does anyone know whether House of Wax and The Forgotten are still being released in 2004?

So "The Forgotten" and "Seed of Chucky" are the only big horror movies left for 2004? Damn.......this fall used to look so good. Now it's barren......all we have left is "Taxi"...........damn.

I expected a Ring2 delay, ever since Naomi Watts signed on for Jackson's King Kong.
