James Franco or Orlando Bloom

In the long run who do you think will come out more sucessful (career wise), Franco or Bloom? I'll go with James. Popularity wise I think Orlando. But thinking more so that James will go the distance.

James Franco is a much better actor. Much better. Bloom was good in Pirates of the Caribbean, but only mildly good.

I don't know about careers thought. Bloom already has a pretty good career set up for himself. Franco just needs a few leading roles.

Franco was great in the James Dean Movie.

And he was Incredible in Spider-Man 2 , so I believe he will be a force very soon.

many can't stand Bloom, yet he might be the biggest star in the world today (movie star). If you look at what films hes been in, what films he going to be in the the next year or so, the guy is HUGE. IN reality, not many are bigger then him at the moment. He's on every magizine cover, talk shows. he's mentioned all the time. his first like 5 films have been blockbusters. He's been in so many films already and making so many more in the next year or 2. Everybody wants him. His steam from LOTR Success has not worn off, and he's still goin strong. He's got 2 pirite sequels coming so he is guarenteed successful for the next few years

James, however, i feel is the better actor. I think he will be huge in the future. just like bloom. I think James has more range.

franco was the best part of spidy 2 IMO and i wish they had more of him-peter together in the film

Probably James Franco Orlando ti me just seems to serious in his movies. He needs to do a bigger range of movies. Although Orlando does have quite a big fanclub :funny: I know a few of them myself and they're nuts.

As an actor, I like Franco more. He was just awesome in the Freaks and Geeks television show. I hope he gets some leading roles here soon.

every movie orlando has been in so far has been a smash hit.. Black hawk down, LOTR , Pirates, Troy. Though i agree franco is a good actor better actor

I think Bloom. Every director seem to want him in his movies. And he has his next 5 years lined up already and he is turning down offers all the time.

You can hate him, but that has nothing to do with it.

All those movies mentioned were huge but NOT BECAUSE of Bloom. MOst of the time he was the weakest part of a movie. And naming "Black Hawk Down" is ridicilous, because you see him only for a sec.

I dont hate him, I hate this whole hype about him, and its nothing more than a hype. As long as this hype and little girls falling for it exist, he'll stay more sucessful.

I'm inclined to agree with that. Certainly Bloom is far from leading man material at the moment, and in none of the big films he's been in thus far (nor those set for the future) is he the lead actor.

He's certainly very popular with the younger female audience (which in itself is a very big market), but because this is so much based on his looks and being 'hot' then this inevitably shortens the length of his career towards the top end of the ladder.
