i would like to announce that this is officially one of the worst movies ever made, if not the worst, without question, and if one person defends this movie than they officially have the worst taste ever, and after that i will call you duddits.

Yes the movie sucked. Before I saw it, I had never read the book and I didnt know anything about it. And it was cool horror movie with a great setting and stuff but then aliens had to be in the movie, and the stroy went to crap! Very retarted movie.

i mean the movie was ok until that stupid bathroom scene it all just went down the toilet as soon as the Vagin@ looking monster came out, seriously. morgan freeman's character was so stupid and confusing, it was just so horrible, stephen king should like stop people from making movies out of his books because they are all horrible, with a few exceptions. i mean i cant put into words how HORRIBLE this movie was.

Personally I'm a fan of most of Stephen King's books, and movies based upon his books......but yes I agree, this movie was pretty bad, hated the alien storyline and the movie was just taking weird turns, and was plain bad.

It was bad... I wonder what happened to Lawrence Kasdan. He used to write and direct great movies. Accidental Tourist was his last good one. Hopefully The Risk Pool will bring him back to form.

It was indeed bad. Heh, the book wasn't that great either. Up untill the last 400 pages I had trouble reading it.

the first part of the movie did a decent job of following the book, then it just went weird places.

I had no problem with it. It entertained me. The ending got kind of creepy though.

The book was not meant to be turned into a movie....still, it wasent that bad, exept the Aliens coming out of their ass.
