I was wondering if anyone could help me with some suggestions for some movies :)

Im actually just looking for more movies in a certain "style".

I realy liked the movies like Stigmata and Devils Advocate.

Was wondering if there are any more movies like this.At least that style if you know where i'm heading (i know it is 2 very different movies but they share something).

I'm not sure how to explain it. It doesnt need to be semi-bible theme to it. It could be about i.e ghosts or something. (not Horror, more thriller like).

I didnt like that Depp movie, so dont mention that :)

Yeah, I know. Sorry about that. It's just when you described the movies you wanted that one kinda just *popped* into my head. Another one I can think of is 'The Ninth Gate.' With Johnny Depp. Another iffy one, sadly.

the devils backbone . Hmm, havent seen that one. Cool title :)

I'll have to check that one out.

I have seen the 9th gate and the others. I liked the others.

Thanks!

I dont know if you have seen it but Gothika is quite an effective little movie. I watched it the other night and was quite surprised. But one of the best movies of this type that I have seen in recent years is Stirs of Echoes with Kevin Bacon. :applaud:

End Of Days, not a great movie but same genre as the ones you mentioned Andrey. It also has Gabriel Byrne in it playing satan on earth.

Thanks for all the input guys!

Movie morgul: I was more thinking of darker thriller movies. (this is more of an action film). Dark, gothic movies.

The Omen (1976)- Ricard Donner's early supernatural thriller with Gregory Peck.

In the Mouth of Madness (1995)- One of John Carpenter's underrated films.

Not quite what i'm looking for. The thing is more horror. And it aint dark and gothic...

It may be hard to understand what i'm looking for. Its not so easy to explain either :)

But thanks anyway.

I just remembered one: Fallen

Really good, basic supernatural thriller.

Here's more info on it:

And try 'In Dreams.' I'm not sure how to classify it, but maybe you'll like it.

garnets are some good ideas. lost souls actually wasnt half bad IMO, also i thought devils backbone was really stupid.
