ROTK took home BEST MOVIE honors at the MTV movie awards and the award for best action sequence for THE BATTLE OF PELENNOR FIELDS!


The next award that ROTK is up for will be the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS, I think.

I think its a great thing to brag about b/c if u think about it ppl r age and voted for the movies and i bet million's of ppl voted, yea its great to have ROTK win best pic at the oscars but thats just a bunch of actors and critics vote not the true fans of the film and no 1 missed the show yet cause its going to be on thursday june 10th at 9pm

For all I know, you could be one of the ones that actually have taste. ;)

i know exactly what ur saying about the mtv views cause i wanted ROTK to win but i was think that they would pick pirates or something cause they think jonny depp and bloom is hott or something cause they do pick kinda stupid movies and i have awesome taste in movies i was on mtv and i voted for ROTK as many times as i could have

Well..yeah. I mean, its usually not about how good a movie is, its generally voted on by the teeny bopper crowd who base thier votes mainly on how hot the actors are in it. Thats why I don't put a whole lot of stock in the MTV awards.

Ugh, the teenies. They run everything. However, the fact that they won does give one hope that there are people who judge movies on quality of the movie not how hot the actors are.

The Osbournes suck - no offense. The idea logic behind Ozzy Ozbourne & MTV pisses me off. MAD magazine brought up a good point: "We hate MTV's sudden love affair with Ozzy Ozbourne. If MTV loves Ozzy so much - then how come they've maybe only shown....2....of his videos in the past 20 years?!"

Kelly and Jack are pretentious little snobs who do nothing but whine and complain and I wish they would have stayed in rehab so no one would have to hear their pathetic whining!

As for Jack and Kelly, there rebellious teens, they are acting like rebellious teens. Give any rebellious teenagers the resources they have and you'll get the same thing. Arguing with their parents, doing drugs. They can just do it on a much larger scale.

and today ngila *****on (costumes), Philipa boyens(screenwrite), jamie selkirk(editor)amd grant major(art direction) all got given queens service awards in nz!!!!

and pj and fran walsh got there's in 02, richard taylor got his in 03
the only prob is that the nz govwernment has taken way knighthoods and gives out The order of NZ merit.

Yeah but none for this year that had a better one on one fight. BTW, Troy doesn't count thats for next year. ;)
