how much extra time is going on the new rotk DVD?

The EE will be 50minutes longer at 4hr10. Likely to be released in November.

there's going to be a lot added. A lot. Whereas FotR and TTT only had little character moments and a couple major plot devices, most of RotK's additions will be big scenes (very good scenes, too)

There's a rumor going around that it might not be November.Delayed.Just a rumor.It says on the Official website:The Extended Editions will be released on a later date.

That means it will be released at a later date than usual,or a later date than the Theatrical Version.Hmm.

No PsYkOoOoO, that just means that the EE will be released 'at a later date', as in, a later date in the year (as oppsed to May 25th). The film SFX and all the features do take a very long time to do though.

Not to mention giving the TE a "proper amount of time" to sell before they release the EE. I still believe it will be November at the latest because they won't risk missing out on the Holiday sales rush.

Also remember that aside from the film itself, it takes time to do all the extras, and they will have to be comparable to those in the first 2, which I'm sure doesn't happen over night. ;)

in our paper the other day it said Weta Digital is aiming to finish work on EE on April 5th!!!!!!!!!!!
