Personally I think Jim Carrey is one of the greatest comedy actors ever and a respectable actor in his less comedic films. But which is your favourite of his movies?

My personal fave is Liar Liar
Baring in mind I haven't seen Eternal Sunshine yet.

Where's The Majestic (masterpiece!) and Earth Girls are Easy?

Without seeing Eternal Sunshine... I'm going to go with Truman.

Sorry i totally forgot about The Majestic. And I figured Earth girls are Easy wouldn't get voted for.

And for Ace 2, I didn't think anyone would actually vote for it, but if you do you may as well vote under Ace 1.

The Truman Show (although I haven't seen Man on the Moon or Spotless Mind).

I never really understood all the hype surrounding D & D, I just didn't find it all that great really.

Top 10, from best to worst...

1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Jim Carrey's best performance. A brilliant movie. See my review in the Eternal Sunshine review thread in Current Movies and Reviews for more.

2. The Truman Show
Another brilliant performance. Carrey hits the right notes as regular guy Truman Burbank in Peter Weir's musing about reality television gone too far. One of my favorite movies ever.

3. The Cable Guy
I started a thread on this as many of you probably saw, The Cable Guy is undoubtedly Carrey's most underrated comic performance. Brilliantly dark.

4. Liar Liar
5. Man on the Moon
6. Me, Myself & Irene
7. The Mask
8. Dumb and Dumber
9. Bruce Almighty
10. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls

Mine would have to be his first, Ace Ventura because i must have watched it a million times when it first came out. but D&D is a very close second. I didnt think much of Bruce Almighty.

Yes, I know, but I just picked the obvious popular choices that came into my head and revolved around Carrey as the main character.

The Cable Guy was hilarious, as was Bruce Almighty. The Mask always scared me... :\ when I first saw it, at least. I'd probably like it if I saw it now.

Those are my two favorites, bearing in mind that I haven't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which I'm dying to see. And will probably love it.
