The first teaser trailer will not be out in November like the schedule for TPM and AOTC, instead the Trailer will be out THIS MAY, probably memorial Day weekend
if this is true, i will crap my pants, only about a month and halt till we MIGHT see an episode 3 trailer!

Pablo Hidalgo said the first teaser would either be in November or perhaps sooner.

teasers are overrated. it'll consist of Vader's breathing over captions saying something like "For every battle there is defeat..." and "For every warrior there is a villain..." something like that, just like they did with TPM. this is the darkest of all six, and there's so much post production to go even if they don't release it till November it won't show much. I guarantee Lucas is gonna save as much as possible for the release. hell, no one knew Yoda was duking it out with Dooku (huh, just caught that!) till they either saw the movie or weeks later when they ran new tv spots. I'll wait for the official trailer.

im thinking of its most likely going to be in september, but i PRAY it comes out in MAY. even if its a teaser, i don't care. I just want something

IF IT is true and lets assume Todd guess at Memorial Day weekend is the time we see it, the possible movie it would be attached to is THE DAY AFTER TOMMOROW. Which is a 20th CENTURY FOX FILM. Which opens MEMORIAL DAY.

That posters cool, though I'd be very disappointed if I saw it on a cinema wall. It's too plain and the writing is very cliched and obvious.
And no the title hasn't been confirmed.

Why is it too plain? isn't that the idea of a early and first teaser poster? i actually would love to see that poster. I think it is amazing. though i am easily impressed with ANYTHING SW, so its just my opinion.
what would you have on the poster?

I don't know, it's just something about the top of Vader's helmet that isn't very interesting. Personally I'd prefer it if it was just black without the helemt bit there. But you're right it should be kept simple.
Personally I'd like the title at the bottom like on that one, with a picture of Anakin either from the back or knelt on the floor or something in a black cloak so he almost blends into the background.

Well, the logo text has this weird halo around it, and the 20th century fox logo is taken from a trailer - it's not the "cut out" version they put on opsters.
Meh, I don't like it, it's too cliched. The "war, betrayal", stuff. How many hundreds of movies have that for their slogans?

I can't work up much enthusiasm for the teaser trailer, especially considering how lame the one for Episode 2 was. (South Park did a great parody of that when the kids were so anxious to see the "Terrance & Philip" trailer... the trailer showed about 1 second of actual material, and the kids were ecstatic. Sad, and yet very real.)

Trouble is they used that for one of the AOTC trailers, and IMO it didn't work too well. Maybe thats because the breathing was played over action scenes and it didn't really fit.
They should have saved it justed for the Ep3 teaser but I reckon they'll still use it anyway.

yeah me too, i want footage as well, but if we do see a trailer, im guessing it will be without footage. (wasn't the first teaser for T3 without footage)

Eh, that poster is definitely a fake. They're using the episode 1 font available on the net that has the varied spacing between characters. Not to mention the glow that's added around the title, an obvious photoshop effect.

they used Vader's breathing for ep. 1, didn't they? I know it was in 2 but I coulda sworn they used it in 1 also. imo they have to use it for 3's trailer. I mean, this is it, the last SW movie, and it's about the most pivotal point of the saga that revolves around Vader.
