Alright maybe some of you movie buffs can help me out. It's an 80's flick I thought Robin Williams was in it but, I guess not. Anyway all I remember from the movie is.

There is this married woman giving this young kid some head in the car, and her husband is driving home very fast, he doesn't see the car in front of him and he crashes into it, the kid dies but the couple stays alive, they end up at this house for handicapped people niether one of them can talk so he is constantly griping at her with sign. That's all I remember from the movie, I hope some one can help. I'f its not a movie it was a dream of mine a long time ago.
Please Help

It does have Robin Williams in it -- The World According to Garp. The kid who dies was one of their own children who was in the car driven by the husband (Williams) and their other kid loses an eye. (The guy getting the blowjob has his penis bitten off) The place was not for the handicapped, but for members of a group who cut out their own tongues in alliance with a young woman whose tongue was cut out during a rape. I remember it being an excellent movie -- but I haven't seen it in years. Glenn Close as his mother. An amazing performance by John Lithgow as a transexual...

Written by John Irving, from his book. He has a cameo as a wrestler...

So the mother was giving the son a BJ while the father was driving?

No, if i remember correctly, the mother is a college professor, and is giving head to one of her students.

Great film. Funny yet moving. Before Robin's "love me" phase.
