As we all know, Sommers also directed "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns," which I enjoyed thoroughly and could also be considered "monster movies." How does everyone think Van Helsing will stack up w/ the Mummy series???

I think it could be good. I like soomers style of film making so I probably like this. Thoug it's not for everyone. I know some people want this to be really dark and gritty. i sure it will be but i suspect there will a healthy dose of humor.

The thing I alway like about his movies are the props and costumes. They are always nice looking, not cheap.

I like him too,he's pretty cool,i liked both mummy movies a lot and i also love his costumes,from both mummy's and VH.

Hes a fun director definitely.He directs to please.

I like him because he doesn't take things too seriously. His films are almost tongue-in-cheek at times while at the same time being a well-told story and occasionally scary.
