Just wonder what every will be feeling when they see episode three for the first time. At the end of it, that will be it. All the anticipation and excitment will be over, and that just knowing that that was the last Star Wars film. All the years later and it will come to an end.

I know that i'll probably want to see it a few times at cinema just to retain that feeling for a while.

The saga won't be over until the huge inevitable boxset, it will live on for a long time through TV and miniseries probably . . .

But I still can't wait for Episode 3 though . . .

I know as soon as episode 3 ends I'll have a great feeling inside me. When the credits roll for any star wars movie I get the shivers and I know I'll love the film the first time. I'll see it a few times and then there's the DVD to look forward to.

But I won't think of it as the end of star wars. There's still books, comics, possible tv, video games etc. Star Wars is too big a franchise, Lucas isn't going to let it die just like that.

I know I had that "bad" feeling only about 2 minutes into the Phantom Menance. I don't expect much from the third installment, but then that's the best attitude to have with these films.

having an attitude like your not expecting much is perfect.

I went into TTT and ROTK thinking it was going to be best movie of all time and those expectations are simply not matchable

Cue: Open can of worms - where is jpdill with his/her "The sequel trilogy will be made" comments. If only he/she was not so mean and disrespectful to the mods.

Yeah, I'll be taking the cynical route here. I'm not expecting too much. Although maybe when I see some of the old familiar faces I will get a little bit of "that feeling."

Which familiar faces?

Well, Chewbacca, Vader, R2 and 3PO are the only ones, I guess. Familiar from the OT I mean.

Oh - what about that other guy. The ugly one? It's not that I can not remember his name, I just don't know how to do that spoiler cover up and "The ugly one" doesn't really warrant a tag (I think) because I could b refering to anyone. Although I think you may know to who I refer.

I think I know who you mean :) the emperor? If so, then yes, him too.

No not him - the OTHER ugly guy. Although I didn't even think about him.

A trilogy of trilogies? I can see the Macdonalds tie-ins already.

I bet alot of people were thinking the same thing when ROTJ came out, but we all know if theres one thing George loves, its money. so im sure star wars will continue to be milked as long as possible if if there are no more major motion pictures...for a while anyways.

Can you say 8 variations of the packaging for the action figure of Darth Vader with removable helmet?
