Since the year is almost over I would like to ask you all 2 questions to find out what you think is "The Best and Worst movie you've seen this Year". I want honest opinions on this and a good reason as to why you think of the movies in that way.

What was the best movie you've seen this year?

The best movie I've seen this year was a close decsision between "Gangs of New York" and "Kill Bill", but I have decided that GONY is my favourite movie of the year. But before anyone starts about GONY being out last year, I live in a different country and it was released in January here.

It just had such an impact on me when I was watching it, that I wanted to see it again and again, the performances by everyone involved in the movie were excellent but the best performance has to have been Daniel Day Lewis as Bill the Butcher. That was one of the strongest acting performances I've ever seen from Day Lewis and believe me he has had some excellent movies.

What was the worst movie you've seen this year?

The worst movie I have seen this year is another close decision because I have seen a few bad ones. But it just has to be "Star Trek Nemesis", mainly because I'm not a fan of the movies or the series but I was bored out of my mind when watching it. There just wasn't anything at all that even gave me a bit of excitement, I love sci fi but this movie was just done so poorly that I don't think I could even look at it ever again.

best: return of the king, kill bill, matrix sequels, donnie darko....
worst: solarus, cos it was just soooooo bad.....it was meant to b exciting sci-fi, instead it was so boring that it made me want to kill myself. the sadness is, this could have been a good film, but it just failed badly.

Best film ive seen this year is KILL BILL volume one. The reason I think this was the best film is because for over a year I have been waiting for it. Getting syked up. Then I saw it opening night two times in a row back to back and I have to say it was by far the best time I have ever had setting and watching a film. All through the movie I had a smile on my face. I was frozen in my seat I couldnt move. The Crazy 88 scene blew my mind. the whole movie was so well directed, edited, acted. I just loved it. I was upset it didnt make EBERTS top 10 list because he gave it such great reviews but o well in my opinion this is by far the best of the year.

Now for worst of the year. There are to many to put here. UNDERWORLD, HULK, GIGLI, T3. The list could go on for a while. I did see one movie inpaticular that i didnt care for. It got great reviews but I was so bored by CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS mind that I almost fell asleep while watching it. i thought at the end it was ok but overall it bored me and i couldnt ever watch it again.

Okay the best movie of the year IMO is Seabiscuit. I think i liked it so much because i wasnt expecting much from it because i am not a horse person. And then i ended up loving it and seen it 3 times in theaters.

The Worst was Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde. I really enjoyed the first one and was expecting to much from this one and it ended up sucking.

Best movie was POTC.
The worst movie was Matrix revolution. LOL @ that movie.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...

Okay, Gangs of New York, Donnie Darko, Star Trek: Nemesis and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind were all not 2003. Except for Darko (which was 1999) all of them came out 4th Quarter 2002, Mind being in about October or so, and the others coming out in December.

As for me, though, Return of the King was the best movie of the year, trailed very closely by Kill Bill Volume 1.

The worst movie of the year? Easy. Not Matrix Revolutions, which I enjoyed (it's the worst Matrix, but so what? It still whups up on all the other sci-fi actioners of today), but Tomb Raider 2. Yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck.

Worst;
Swimfan, Charles angels and Badboys 2 had me leaving the cinema with that feeling of- just wasted 2 hours of my life watching that...

Best;
Return of the king, Kill Bill, Catch me if you can, Gangs of New york, Pirates of caribean- all great films this year.

Best: Matrix Reloaded - Return of the king -

Worst: Matrix Revolutions - Hulk - School of Rock - X2 - Daredevil - Pirates of the Caribbean (sorry, I just didn't enjoy it)

I still haven't seen Last Samurai and Kill Bill but those are my picks as of now. I don't really see what people liked in POTC, but it was just a bore for me. Very little character development also. On the positive, it did have some funny scenes :) Johnny Depp was great.

Best: Return of the King

Unparalleled craftsmanship and emotion. A veritable avalanche of money shots.

Worst: 2Fast 2Furious

Unparalleled stupidity. The whole movie is Walker's character talking trash to Tyrese's character while racing in horrendously edited sequences that would make Micheal Bay proud.

Best: The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, two of the best of all time IMO

Best: Return of the King, Kill Bill: Volume one
Worst: Scary Movie 3, Dreamcatcher, Matrix: Reloaded, Hollywood Homicide, Alex and Emma, Hulk, Spy Kids 3D, Haunted Mansion.

Return of the King was just...no words for it. Kill Bill is quite possibly one of the best experiences I've ever had in a movie theater...I was mesmerized by this film...I was laughing, I was enthralled, I was touched...these both were brilliant brilliant movies.

The worst...well, Scary Movie 3 was just....oh-my-god bad. Just....killed the franchise. I liked the first 2, (yeah, I did, and ya know what? The second one was hilarious! Cracked me up, and I'm not a very big fan of gross out, but really made me laugh.)

The Best of 2003: is The Return of the King but The Last Samurai is very close.
ROTK because it was the greatest ending to a trilogy 9.9/10 or 10/10 and The Last Samurai is 10/10 loved it

The Worst of 2003(alot): The Cat in the Hat followed by legally blonde 2 and the hulk the others i avoided.
Cat was a 1/10 and legally blonde is 2/10 and hulk is 3/10

The cat in the hat was just terible top 5 worst of all time in my opinion

oh and i forgot Dreamcather was terible it was entertaining for the first 30 minutes but after jason lee died and u saw the alien it was just terible horrible 4/10 because of the begining
