I have just seen the new poster and I think, Hugh Jackman looks on it like the vampire hunter Alucard from the anime tv show "Hellsing". :D

actually if you've seen the anime hellsing you'd know that really he doesn't look anything like him at all. Alucard was in all red and carried guns. I think somewhere someone mentioned dante from devil may cry and that's exactly right, he looks more like him than Jackman.

besides Jackman looks more like D from the anime Vampire Hunter D

Cool pic, although a bit small to make much out. I remember seeing some of the promo pics for the movie a while back and I might have the sitting around here somewhere, showing the 3 monsters the same way it's showing Van Helsing there

I ordered this poster from moviegoods.com yesterday. I can't wait to get it. I usually buy posters after I see the movie. If the movie isn't good I wont get the poster. But this poster is to awesome looking.

Van Helsing will have about 15 weapons, one of which was a hand held circular saw which is about the size of a mobile phone at the start. Then he presses a button and little blades spring out of it to make a circle, then he holds the handle and continually presses the button with his thumb (or trigger) and it spins the blades around.

The blade saw thing in his hand. Someone found this on a German site somewhere, don't know where.

That concept design looks a little too much like LXG and LOTR to me, I like this new one, It's pretty original.

It's really hard to come up with original poster designs these days...most everything has been done.

That's why I like teaser posters the best (not this one in particular) because there's more freedom artistically.
