I just finished watching the EE and PJ's commentary, and I have a few questions. When Faramir and Frodo go to Osgiliath, PJ said that you could see Minas Tirith in the far distance. But here's what I dont understand, why are they on the wrong side of the river, shouldnt they be on the other side. The orcs are attacking on the east side and the Gondorian soldiers are defending on the west side of the city but how did Faramir enter the city. I know they could cross a bridge but wouldnt the orcs just see them and kill them. And another thing, was Faramir at Cair Andros in the movie, they dont really mention that in the dvd.

Well the Sewers (how Frodo and all get out) or another way which they know of, but the Orcs do not. They are sneaky rangers after all.

Hmm, interesting, that could explain it, but wouldnt the orcs know where the sewers are and couldnt they just see them. It would have been nice if we could have seen the ranger going into the sewers, but i guess thats the best explanation.

Well in the TT that one ranger said "Faramir the orcs have taken the eastern shore the numbers are to great, by night fall we will be over run". That would mean theres like thousands of orcs on the east side of the city. So I dont think Faramir and the hobbits would be able to walk around with out getting killed. So it could just be a mistake.
