Future Projects from the wachowski`s are as groundbreaking as stanley kubrick's movie making, remember 2001 had bad publicity by THEN critics are rave by NOW critics, it was actually Kubrick`s outstanding future movies which made people remember 2001 a space odyssey

'2001' was only seen as great later so Matrix must also be?....don't be so fast to draw paralell's like that. Matrix had groundbreaking CGI, '2001' had groundbreaking ideas.

Not to mention the situation is much different. It would make more sense if The Matrix only become popular after the Wachowski's made more movies.
Going onto making 150million nationally is a much bigger difference.
Regardless of where the Wachowski's go, it won't make people's minds change on Revolutions or Reloaded. It was that way with Kubrik more so because as he became more well known, more and more people checked out his earlier film 2001.

Hey, hey, Bond...Matrix had groundbreaking CGI AND ideas, and 2001 had groundbreaking effects and ideas as well. Don't be so fast to dismiss parallels like this, either.

i wouldnt call reloaded and revolutions "groundbreaking". i was definately not blown away by either.
The Matrix was more "groundbreaking" than revolutions.
And these days SFX dont mean much, just think in 2010 even the "super punch" will start to look dated as cgi humans get better and better.
anyone know what the wachowski`s next project is? and dont say Matrix 4!!!!!
