Multi-player ME game for 2004!!!

I read in a gaming magazine that there is a game about Middle-Earth coming out sometime next year. I don't know if you follow the Final Fantasy series, but this game is set up like FFXI. You choose between 4 races--a man, an elf, a dwarf, and a halfling. You basically interract in ME environments where the fellowship is not. And your actions determine whether you are a good guy or a bad guy! You customize what your character looks like (clothing, face, sex, etc). It's a huge platform with people playing from all around the world.

There are even going to be legendary weapons you can acquire (though there was no word on Sting or Anduril/Narsil)!

I don't have scanning capacities, or else I'd show you all the pics of the game.

I know this has nothing to do with the movie, but I thought I'd let you all know about this juicy info anyways!

It has First Person too. so its kinda like Diablo, but not entirley.

You mean like random-battles and level ups? I'd rather play an RPG than a Resident Evil type game like the TTT is and ROTK is going to be. *shrug* Just my preferance. TTT was cool though, but I haven't played it since I beat it last January.

same here, the replayabilitly is not very good with ea's games. i want level ups and character points. and action RPG. i hate Massively Multiplayer On-line Role Playing Games. (MMORPG) i want an action RPG like Dungeon Siege or Divine Divinity for LOTR. i think that would be the perfect LOTR game.

not necessarily. have you ever played dungeon siege? its exactly like Diablo but with more weapons and you can build up a fellowship of nine people........PERFECT FOR LOTR!!!!!!

my idea for the perfect LOTR game. if you've ever played Dungeon Siege you'll know they layout:

game starts off in Hobbiton, you then travel to Bree where you meet up with Aragorn, there you can buy armour, swords, etc. you then travel to Rivendell where you then gain Gimli, Legolas, Boromir, and Gandalf. stock up on elvish weapons and armory while you are here. and so on and so forth following the story. i think that would be so awesome. you can control all of the members in the fellowship, and even have Bill the Pony as your packmule to carry gold, artifacts, weapons, etc. make it similar to the playability of Dungeon Siege and there you have it, the perfect LOTR RPG, that spans all of ME.

that is a good idea but thats only for FOTR..how about RPG/strategy?something like warcraft and you are aragorn or gandalf and you lead the gondorians onto the pelennor fields to fight...
