For everyone waiting for The Return of the King, there is some rough cut footage of the confrontation of Saruman at Isengard that originally was going to end The Two Towers. The scene will now be one of the ones that will open up the final film in the trilogy and there is a little preview of it on disc four.

I just want to repeat something my review said and this one said also, Helms deep is pretty much the same excecpt for a some quick new violent shots and the stuff at the hornburg, but the battle is pretty much the same. I am confident you will still love the EE.

My god, this sounds like we will be watching TTT like we have not seen it before. It seems almost like a new movie!

Reading the additions described in detail made me become aware once again, how painfully missed these scenes were in the theatrical version.

P.S.: I want my SEE copy--- NOW!!!!!!

hey the rotk game will be hear next weekend with lots of new fotoage and then the following weekend will be the TTT ee dvd so november is a good month.

I think we are all beginning to realise that whilst PJ's version of TTT is not and cannot be perfect, the EE DVD will enhance the theatrical version immensely. I can't wait! :)

So the scene where they meet the orcs is in?!? It said that instead of stopping because they smelt 'man flesh' they stop because of the Mordor Orcs. Is this true Jedi? Or have they get things mixed up and are actually talking about the extended Fangorn Nightcamp scene?

There is a little mix up there, the uruks don't go looking for the mordor orcs they just keep running and just really run in to the mordor orcs. We don't have any backstory to the mordor orcs searching for the urukhai, they are just there and both stop and get in one of like two arguements, this I believe is about where to take the hobbits, Isengard vs. Mordor. The second is the food fight.


I know the review, kind of made it sound like both parties looking for each other.

I don't care about the backstory I'm just relieved this scene is in! I thought it would just go to the Nightcamp at Fangorn scene as usual.

So is the 'man flesh' thing completely removed? How then does it explain Pippin biting off his leaf brooch and spitting it on the floor so that Aragorn can follow their trail? Also, I hear the Rohirrim ambush is extended. Do we see anymore of Ugluk fighting? Maybe getting his head cut off?

This review is awesome, but my hunger for news may have ruined any surprises to scenes that I didn't know about. *sigh* Oh well.

I just noticed that FOTR EE's docs were 1 and 2 and TTT EE's are 3 and 4! THIS IS AWESOME! It directly relates to how LOTR is set up with Books 1 and 2 as FOTR and 3 and 4 as TTT. That's a very clever idea.

I can't wait for this DVD--it will surely quench my thirst for LOTR until Decemer rolls around.

Shagrat, there is a new part where Merry is pretending he is sick and the urukhai give something nasty drink while, they argue then they start moving again and that is when Pippin leaves his brooch.

Ugluk has alot more dialouge, instead of just hearing him say "get back scum!!" or "they are not for eating..." He repeats what Saurman said about "alive and unspoiled." Then they get into the conversation about why Saurman wants the hobbits.

There is more of the Rohan ambush on the uruks, more shooting and slicing, it is awesome.
