Helloween is gonna happen

Well guys, looks like Helloween will actually be happening. In an interview with The Brownsville Herald, Doug Bradley (known to many as Pinhead) confirmed that Dimension Films is indeed working on this film which pits Pinhead and the other cenobites against the unkillable Michael Myers. The film is scheduled for a Fall 2004 release (they're gonna try to release it for Halloween next year). For the complete story click the bottom link.

Well all I can say is: YEEEHAAAWWW!!!:D I was one of the few people who thought that this would actually be a good movie, and I'm glad it's gonna happen!! :applaud::applaud:

What the **** are they thinking, this is one of the worst ideas in the history of cinema...They will **** up the Halloween series even more by throwing this **** pile into the public...Pinhead isn't popular at all, the Hellraiser movies are now DTV...Shows how loved Hellraiser is...Also “At this point in fact, Dimension Films are planning a Hellraiser/Halloween crossover,” Bradley said, emphasizing that the project is only in the planning stage. “They are hoping to have it out by Halloween next year. That would be pretty fast, but that’s their plan.” It is still planning, this may not even happen...Halloweenmovies.com have been running a competition for one fan to have a cameo in Halloween 9...This wont really be Halloween 9 so what happens with that...

Although I don't think this is the greatest of ideas, I LOVE that title. Helloween. Awsome. Freddy Vs. Jason is too bland. Helloween is a good mix of the two titles.

Actually the results of the poll were 55% said No and 45% said Yes (get your facts straight next time dude :rolleyes: ). So it was pretty close, and this movie may indeed be made since almost half of the people wanna see this match up.

Pinhead is a good character. The studio just whored it out too much. Doug Bradley only does them because he cant get any other job so it is a steady paycheck. If done right, this movie will rock!

It's not my opinion either, It's fact, This is going to suck.;)

I'm not the only one on here to say it.It's not logical , More logic would mean cross PinHead with Candyman, Both Barker Creations and more supernatural.
But The studio is more concerned with cashing in quickly on The VS. craze that they completely ignored the fact that fans could care less about Pinhead .

Any character that is direct to video means his audience is not that high.IMO.

BTW, I know Horror, so My opinion to some on here does not suck.Maybe in your eyes.;)

Had the Hellraiser series stopped at 2, maybe even 3, it would not have turned off fans as much as the last 3 or 4 parts did. Pinhead is a bad mother *****er and he would chew up and spit out Freddy or Jason anyday.
I mean he makes chains with hooks shoot out of the air and rip you apart. No one could touch him. Good idea about Candyman and Pinhead though.

the thing with michael myers is that i don't look at him as a moveable fighter for some reason. he just kills and dosn't put up a fight. jason and freddy can actually fight so thats what helped that movie also. this movie will just suck and it should go startght to video. lets just make a video game so people can play as their favorite horror character and fight each other.

The chances of this film being made,and if made,being as succesful as Freddy vs. Jason,are doubtful.It just doesn't work.The odds of Micheal and Pinhead coming across eachother would be very slim.If I remember correctly,Micheal kills people,he doesn't play with crazy little boxes that unleash evil.;)

I’ve gotten several recent reports quoting Doug Bradley as saying there is a HALLOWEEN/HELLRAISER film coming next year, and he will be playing Pinhead in it once again.
It’s not true. And it is true. Or was, anyway. Allow me to explain.
FREDDY VS. JASON opened, and shock waves raced through any studio that had two franchises to rub together. Finally kickstarted ALIEN VS. PREDATOR over at Fox. There are persistent rumors that New Line wants to throw Ash into the mix next time out. And, yes, at Dimension, it got some of the execs excited about seeing Michael Myers onscreen with Pinhead.
Got a heck of a lot further than just talks, too. The details you’ve been hearing were right. Clive Barker was going to write it, and John Carpenter was going to direct it. Think about that... yes, both series have endured a lot of ****ty sequels over the years, but not under the guidance of their respective creators. John Carpenter directing Pinhead? Clive Barker writing Michael Myers? These are intriguing possibilities.
And now, thanks to one particular rights holder whose name might rhyme with Blustafa Akaad, it won’t happen. This just went from development deal to missed opportunity in one fell swoop.
It’s a very, very recent development, too. It just hit the wall. I had to track this down through one of my best East Coast sources, someone close enough to the Weinsteins to smell ‘em. It took a while, but I consider this one confirmed. It’s finished, not gonna happen, over and done.

Thats not generally his character but more of his motive, He killed one sister when he was 6 so tried to kill the other, He then went after his niece and killed her, then went after his Nephew, so its all pretty balanced out.

Looks like after the success of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, Dimension Films is actually again starting to consider having a remake of Halloween made. Wanna know more?
