Did you ever stop to think that not everyone on this planet loves Manchester United? I accept that you think they are the best because that's the team you support but to me Newcastle United are the only team that matters and to others, Liverpool, Arsenal etc are the only team that matters. So you see not everyone will share your opinion, I hope you don't mind me asking but where are you from? It seems that 100% of Manchester United fans are not from Manchester

well to answer your question im from iran,my profile says it all...and well as newcastle is the team for you,man u is for me...to put all prejudice aside..something jes draws me to that team..so many fans changed loyalties to madrid when beckham left..but hes jes one person ,hes not the team..man u is much bigger than that...and i agree with chimp..i cant freakin stand arsenal..bloody scum o the earth and filth of the nation..hang them all and let the carrion pick on their putrid feces infested bodies......what i say is..man u rocks..its my opinion...certainly dont wanna shove it down no ones throat and as i said results speak for themselves...peace out

It would be strange to see how Manchester United fans would recieve David Beckham as a Real Madrid player, but I hope you're not looking for this match to be the final because that will be Juventus and Real.

maybe...lets see...about beckham..well i guess im jes happy for him coz he seems to be enjoying madrid...good on him mate..cant expect the bugger to stay in united for life..and im quite happpy with the replacements ferguson has got..ronaldo..fletcher..both are kids with loads of talent and theyre only 18 and 19...not to say i dont miss beckham..he made a load of difference to the team..but man u is man u with or without beckham..were taking the cup home anyway..

It is a mistery for me how serious some people are about their favorite teams... It is just sport, so stay normal and accept it that way...
I have even met some people who actually say that they are ready to DIE for their team... Incredibly stupid, nothing more nothing less.

10-30-2003, 07:33 AM
chill tony..hahahahah..im certainly not willing to die for em..its jes that theyre an awesome team and ive been supporting em for a long time....you probably felt this way about some team at some point of time....

I like watching my team play but they are playing for money I pay, so there is no direct connection between us.

Don't talk to me about that, Bobby Robson was saying that Alan Shearer is really upset about missing the penalty and that he feels like hehas let every last Newcastle fan down.

If you think about how much money Chelsea spend on players it would be a disaster if they would not play on the top level!
They are making a second Real Madrid out of it but the results are not similar to the class...

They will become another european power though. And the millions roman has spent on chelsea is nothing more than small change to him.
Tony Montana
11-02-2003, 04:12 PM
Doesnt matter if it is small change or big business for him, I was talking about the team and they are not as good as they should be.
Just buying great players doesnt mean that you have a good team. After all, they still have crappy keeper, should think about what position they need most.

11-02-2003, 09:47 PM
i totally agree with tony...thats exactly why i cant support madrid either....heyre jes a bunch of big names...but man u goes out there and finds class players and makes them in to big names..look at ronaldo..did you see the way he handles the ball?and what a goal..man that kids going places...fletcher is so awesome too..and who was van nistelrooy when he came to man u..no one knew the guy..and now...44 goals in one season..
as for shearer he shouldnt take it to hard on himself..its soccer...it happens and theres still a whole lotta season left for him to make up for it...he scores consistently and thats good enough..
but chelsea is still a threat..wether we like em or not..

ManU is buying player now like everyone else!
Couple of years ago ManU had only own players out of their own school like Ajax in mid 90s and now. Beckham, Scholes, Giggs and the rest were all ManU players from the beginning.
Nistelrooy was great before he came to ManU, he only paused 1 year due to his knee ingury...
I like the way Arsenal is playing, very offensive and fast, but still they need too many shots for a goal and their defence is like a swiss cheese...

Carlo Cudicini a crappy keeper? I assume you're basing that on one mistake he made against Arsenal, cos other than that he's one of the best, if not the best, keeper in the Premiership. If they needed a big name keeper they could go out and buy one but he's better than most they'll find out there. A couple of saves he made against Everton were top drawer.

everyone has to buy players no doubt...but the difference with manu and real is that man u doesnt go out and buy players that are already developed by other teams like real does...

Partizan was way better and had many chances but their young players didnt used them or Casillas was great...

WOW!! What a game to watch, it was like a highlight show. Records being broken with every goal scored after it got to 6-2, 1 goal was scored and the ball was up the other side and almost in the net within seconds. Deportivo played well and didn't deserve that mauling but hey it was great to watch
