View Full Version : Critizism against Matrix Revolutions

I bet you that people will critize against the Super Brawl just because it's all CGI. They will be saying that it doesn't look real and it's all fake looking, which is what it is. Just like how some people didn't like the Burly Brawl because it wasn't hard to tell what was CGI.

Umm, ok. Sure they will. Who cares? To be fair, I think it's only natural to find real fights more impressive than ones that are completely reliant on CGI.

Most of the fighting is real except the reaction's to a few of Neo's punches. Don't underestimate how good wire-work can be when you have the best in the world working on the movie.

Well yes, there is great wire work done in the films. The best. But there are just plainly some stuff, that the Wachowski's invision, that can't be done with wire work.
And actually a lot of the Superbrawl is done with the real actors.

Sorry to upset all any die hard Matrix fans, but this is exactly why I didn't like Reloaded as much as the original Matrix. The Burly Brawl was kinda cool...but too CGI. Granted, it was the most realistic CGI I've ever seen and I'm quite impressed, and Reloaded is a good flick, but I get much more excited watching the sparring fight with Morpheus and Neo, which is still my favorite fight in all the Matrix films thus far.
Maybe the Superbrawl will impress me...but I don't have high expectations for that. Honestly, I'm afraid I'll be bored...because the Burly Brawl kinda bored me, and the Superbrawl looks like it's just gonna be Burly Brawl x 1000.

As far as we know Neo is only fighting one Smith so... It's going to be completely different.

Screw the guys that says Matrix sucks...
I'm worried the F/X will take over. Will Revolutions have a story?

The SuperBrawl is against Neo and one Agent Smith, the rest of the thousands of the Smiths are just going to watch the fight. This fight will take place in the streets, in the sky, in a building, and in a crater that the two throw themselve into in the street. The fight will be a combination of real actors with CG backgrounds, like the sky. The only time the actors will be CGI is in the intence of them flying or something of the sort.
Was Reloaded poorly made? No
Was it a great sequel? No
Was it a good sequel? Yes
I have some faith in Revolutions.

Who cares if its CGI the movie is made by two comic book lovers and there visions are just that...A non reality fantasy world. who cares if it doesn't look exactly real its still wicked cool. i know, i have a friend who says that the fighting scenes look silly because it's impossible to do in real life. I cursed at his ass because it's not suppose to be real. That's the genius of the Matrix, you can get away with any fighting style.

yes the cg was overdone, but it doesnt take away from the captivating story of the squels IMO. brilliantly written dialogue and script.

go and read aintitcoolnews.com's reviews of revolutions. they said the cgi is way better then in Reloaded. and since the superbrawl is at night, it will do alot of covering up just as Helm's Deep did for the two towers.

More or less
i heard the cgi looked a lot better on the imax screen

Actually it didn't make much of a difference to me.
And it would be the other way around in reality anyway. The screen is much larger, meaning any effects should be much more noticible, than not.

Who gives a crap if it's CGI?
I'd like to see you do the same moves WITHOUT CGI...
