I've noticed that alot of people seem to hate Halloween 3, I can't see any reason for this other than Michael Myers wasn't in it... which is just plain dumb.

I think it was a great movie and I respect the writer for trying something different instead of churning out a cookie cutter sequel.

I'll admit that the first time I watched it I was a bit disappointed that Mikey was nowhere to be seen, but I got over it and enjoyed the movie. I think this is one of the best sequels in the Halloween series and had quite a good idea (killer masks).

So what's your opinion?

It shouldn't have the Halloween name attached to it...Maybe people would give it more respect..Personlly i wasn't too fond of it....You did a double line in your post BTW.

No Jamie Lee Curtis. Damn them!!! Anyway, Cinescape gave it like the eighteenth beast sequel of all time.

I think this movie would have been good IF (and only if) they had made this an entirely different movie, not a Halloween movie with the Halloween tittle.

This movie was uber retarded. Masks killing people, how can anyone like this flick? and That Silver Shamrock song got annoying
after the second time they played it in the movie. Thank the stars above part 4 went back to dealing with Mikey.

i agree that this movie probably is hated more because it has the halloween in the title, but there are other reasons that this is a bad movie. the villian was some evil company who was going to kill people with their retard masks, that is not scary. plus it hardly had any scares in it to begin with.

Even if this would have been called just "Season of the Witch" or "Masks " or whatever It still was a bad film.
Anyway you take it , It sucked.
But that's my opinion.

Besides the annoying Silver Shamrock song, the misleading Halloween title attachment, corny acting and even cornier plot which was almost comedic in itself (Robot man-servants and cursed magical rocks from stonehenge? Pass the LSD over here please) multiple plot holes, slow pace, no plot twists and no definitive answers that are worth a damn... this movie comes just under purest of tripe.

May this movie soon be forgotten and its memory disbanded, along with this thread when interest has been lost of it.

Evil robots and cult members who use the power of stonehendge and killer masks is a ****ty ****ty halloween movie. A for effort, but F for f-a-i-l-u-r-e.

I try to think of H3 as a separate alternate universe movie, it was good not great.

I think it would have been better if, yes, they had taken out the Halloween thing. Season of the Witch sound slike a cool movie all by itself. I think it sucked as a Halloween movie ( for the already out there reason, NO MIKEY MYERS!)
