I was playing around and read about this german site on another site and it says that there is an easter egg in the EE of Gollum's speech...

and since i don't know german i translated the site:

Hi, everyone!

This is a 1st time post, so bear with me :)...

Since I am German, I thought you might be interested in the correct translation of the TTT easter egg information mentioned above, so here we go:

Auf der ersten DVD findet sich erneut ein Clip von den "MTV Movie Awards" als Easteregg. Wenn man in der Szenenanwahl von Kapitel 30 ausgehend nach unten klickt, bekommt man die Übergabe des Preises für "Best Virtual Performance" an Gollum gezeigt.

TRANSLATION:

The first DVD once again features a clip from the "MTV Movie Awards" hidden as an easter egg. Go to "Scene Selection", go to chapter 30, go further down and what you will get is Gollum's Award Acceptance Speech for "Best Virtual Performance".

Beneath that information they have a ranking of some sort:

Schwierigkeit des Verstecks - rates how hard it is to find the easter egg (in this case 2 eggs out of 5)

Qualität des Hidden Features - quality of the hidden feature.. OK, that was kind of easy even vor non-Germans... *g* (3 eggs out of 5).

BTW, I would assume they will also include the award speech featuring PJ, Viggo and Bernhard.

Oh ok, those speeched were great lol. Viggo, " Lets kill the little bastard once and for all." Or something to that effect lol.

They should also have the ROTK preview from the TTT DVD or the final ROTK trailer.

And yes, it is indeed the MTV MA speech with Andy and Gollum they are talking about.

Actually, that speech WAS online at the time, I have a copy of it, it is an 8 MB Quicktime File. All I say is *quotes Gollum*:

"You're all bastards! MTV sucks! We hate you all!" :D

I have this little clip already saved on my puter but having it on the DVD will be a gem to keep!
And yes I hope they have a better version of the ROTK trailer...
TTT Trailer that was in FOTR EE has never been repeated and is a very good version of the trailer although some of the scenes didn't appear in TTT TE... Hopefully the EE....
