This thread isn't up to batter Steve Bartman....even though everyone should. But I was just curious about how the Bman is doing. Like just basically his current status. Agh Red sox...I live in Boston...its just ridiculous...the Yankees I mean.
His phone number would be good too even though he probably changed it lol.

Tonkpils what gives you the right to post this information here. WOuld you want someone posting personal information about you? I don't think you would be too happy. The guy went for a foul ball coming his way. I would do it and so would a majority of other people. He is not the reason the Cubs lost the series. There were a number of factors that led to there demise. Thats all I have to say on this matter. Let the man go on with his life.

I'm with Slipknot... Once this info gets out to a few sites, it's public domain. Sure, they guy doesn't deserve to have his life ruined because of this, but it wasn't Slipknot who ruined his life, it was the people who tracked down all his info to begin with

Exactly, the Chicago news station ruined him by camping out in front of the guys house and pretty much giving all his information away.

i know it was just a quick reaction. he was caught in the moment. plus what if the player didn't catch the ball. plus even if he didn't grab it who says they would have won anyways

Whatever don't blame Bartman for anything just blame the cubs for not playing good for the rest of the game

yeah really, just becuase of that one play it doesnt mean that the cubs had to let up 8 runs. they did make 2 errors that inning too, they just suck, like the red sox, they choke under pressure and they both blame it on a curse, they are all babies

Don't blame the guy.
The very next play, they had an EASY double play to end the inning and they had an error.
Blame the guy who made the error

I loved him when he was "The Lethal Weapon" but he had no charisma ...Oops thought you meant Steve Blackman.;)

Considering if Bartman doesn't happen they pitch differently to the the guy that hit into the potential double play..............
Bartman happened and everything just snowballed after that.
But no, it's not Bartman's fault the Cubs lost the series.

I wish people would leave him alone it's not his fault at all.
1) The 3rd base coach and the other coaches should of awarded alou the catch because of interference yet they were idiots not to be favorable towards the cubs because they were playing their at the cubs standium and wanted to be fair towards the cocky Marlins. It was just like what happened when the Orioles faced the Yankees at Yankee Stadium about 8 yrs. ago and the Yankee fan caught the ball for a homer over the orioles outfielder and it was obvious he was going to catch the ball that led him to the change in the series.
2) Gonzalez, Alex made the error they said they couldn't of made the double play but the guy for marlins going to first was slow and not hassoling so he would of had him out he really cost them the world series. Finally they get rid of him he should of been gone a long time ago.
3) baker should of taken his pitcher out when he gave up a few runs I was Suprised Estes didn't get a chance to pitch or some other guy but when he's not on you should know it and take him out to prevent the damage any longer.

uhhhh dude, 1st of all the coaches dont make the calls, thats the umps, the coaches cant award him the catch and 2nd either can the umps in this case, the rules state that any ball in the crowd (which it was) is fair game for any fan to grab at, the ball was clearly in the crowd so it wasnt cheating and it would have been a bad call if it was called a catch, learn the rules of baseball

I meant coaches as the umpires, Your right about the rule except for how it should be used properly Cleary Alou was going to catch the ball I wish they went against the call. They need to change it to without a doubt if the Outfielder has a clear eye on the ball and it's obvious he's going to make the catch but somebody interferes the batter should be called out.
