Hey people. I was just wondering what people thought of chelsea's new manager Roman Abramovich. Some people say hes a saviour for Chelsea, whereas others are saying hes just ruining football, by buying Chelsea up the premiership
What do you think?!?!?!?

Well, he's there owner not manager. Anyway what's he going do next buy Barclays, buy the premiership and proclaim Chelsea champions? It's all about money with him and who he can buy, that's not what football should be about.

Well he is pumping money back into the game and now there seems to be more interest from billionaires looking to take over Premiership sides. If you had that kindda money to throw around you'd be doing the same thing

Hes got his eye on a NHL team aswell and apparently he wants to make an all rusian team in the nhl (the american ice hockey league).
Also - I dont think hes ruining football at all he is causing a revolution at chelsea - yes and I think thats a good thing.

I wish he had taken over Leeds and cleared all their debt instead.

Well J Diddy we can't have it all our own way because if we could Newcastle would be premiership champions

He should have bought some piss poor team like west bromich albion. Or tried to restore Queens Park Rangers to there former glory - Theres more fun in that - more of a challenge. Have Rivaldo down in the second division earning £120 000 p/w.

Yeah that would be an excellent idea Tedward, buy a conference side and get all the best players in the world, they'd be unstoppable

I don't see how Roman is a bad thing to football. He has put alot of money into the game which is trickling down to the lower leagues. One of the papers has an article about it not long ago. For instance the money Chelsea spent on Joe Cole and Glen Johnson solved West Hams money problems. The paper listed alot more some associated with the purchase of Duff too as Blackburn bought a couple of lower division players.

And out of all the possible examples of poor clubs, I don't see why West Bromwich Albion is seen as one. They spent wisely and are looking at getting back into the Premiership almost imediately. Whats more I have heard no news about them having much money problems.
