There is a shot of Legolas before he attacks some Harad that are aboard an oliphaunt.

Awesome shot Barad-dur as the ring comes closer to it's true master, a long light shoots up from the top. AWESOME!!!

Shelob is teased, you can see the back of her head bobbing up and down as she runs after Frodo. It is a tease, so DON"T WORRY.

The thing I want to know is: The last couple of days it's been the same deal again and again >> Everytime some 'newbie' posted a thread with even the SLIGHTEST news about the upcoming trailer or anything related to it, he/she was almost butchered into the ground by some of you to "POST IT IN THE TRAILER THREAD!! POST IT IN THE TRAILER THREAD!! OR ELSE THIS WHOLE BOARD WILL BE UN-READABLE!!!"

Now Jedi posts (oh my god no!..) SOMETHING ABOUT THE TRAILER!! And NOBODY is screaming murder! NOBODY is telling him to "please put it in the trailer thread". I was even stunned to read the reaction of one of the front runners in 'ban everyone who dares to create a new trailer thingie' > Mister downflow311

here is something you dont know midnight. jedi posted TTT EE scene descriptions a few months ago. New Line came into these boards and took them down. which is why jedi has had to change his screen name. i know i saw. and so did alot of other peoples on these boards. what do you have to say to that? jedi has been the most reliable source for LOTR info on these boards? even TORN put a link to our boards to see TTT EE scene descriptions. there, that should stop you from being stupid.:rolleyes:

Like I said: I'm not trying to pick a fight, and I'm sorry if you have the feeling I'm attacking you.

And YES I think there are to many posts regarding the trailer, but I also understand allot of them: we're all hyped about the trailer, and some of the 'newbies' in here are so hyper about it, that they want to SCREAM every breath of info (new or old) in a headline. Pointless in some cases, but there were a few posts that WERE good enough to create a new thread for, and still they were being slapped to hard IMO.

And there have been cases of 'new' information in the past, where the thread creator was being told "not to create a thread for every new piece of info and PUT IT IN THE TRAILER THREAD!" So that's why I found it a little unfair that everybody held their mouths shut in this one, simply because (lets be honest) the thread creator is Jedi.

A couple of threads I think we're all fine with. It's when we get one after the other after the other. At least with thid thread Jedi gave a review of the trailer, beyond just speculation of the release. A lot of the others have merely been threads asking the same questions or posting the same information.

To a point you can understand it, but only to a point. It is fairly clear that the moment you enter this forum all the trailer threads (of which there have been many) are toward the top of the board. Why therefore starting posting new ones all the time? I suggest that often it's not simply by 'mistake', but intentionally done to create attention. I simply don't believe that on so many occasions people have been 'unaware' of the exsiting of other threads. It's insulting and disrespectful in itself. And then you have guys like Midnight and others coming in clearly determined to cause trouble. You can usually tell by the language if these things are genuine mistakes or simply people being ignorant.

After there was a bit of moaning a few weeks ago about the treament of 'newbies' I made a point of being very polite in ALL my posts this time, respectfully asking that they check the main ROTK trailer, thread and posting the link. I don't think anyone can take offense to that, as it's actually helping people.

BTW, ideally, if we had plenty of mods, there would be a merging of all the the trailer threads that are pretty much the same (rather than just locking). I would think that would solve the problem and make everybody happy. Whether there is that function on this board though I don't know.:confused:
