Ok I could have sworn at the end of Reloaded, all of Zion was destoryed and that the only surviver was Smith (or at least the guy Smith infected)

Now when we watch these latest trailers were seeing everyone all nice and fine in there little Starcraft Goliaths and in there orgy caves.....what happened?

I thought that too when I first seen Reloaded. The sentinals hadn't reached Zion yet. Bane (Smith) was the only survivor of a ship that was destroyed. Remember when they said the EMP was triggered too soon? That was Bane. He triggered the EMP on his own ship before the sentinals were close enough. This disabled the ship and allowed the sentinals to destroy it easily.

Actually I believe it was all the ships and now the logos and I believe the Hammer are all thats left, of the hovercrafts that is.

Yeah, you may be right, but I just know that it was ships that were destroyed, not Zion.

This has been a common misunderstanding. The battle that left only Smith alive was a pre-emptive strike by Zion on the Sentinels.

Zion is fine, and the rest of their hovercrafts are fine. The ones sent on a mission to ambust the sentinels were the only ones destroyed.

Yeah but don't you remember Lock was mad at the council because he needed every available ship for the premptive strike, and the council sent the 2 ships out looking for the Neb? He said he needed every available ship and Bane was the only survivor of the strike so I take that as all the ships were destroyed but two.

No.....In the council meeting, Locke said he needed every ship to protect Zion.

The pre-emptive strike is mentioned later, as a part of the over-all defensive plan, by the captain of the ship that picked up Bane.
