Here's a new question to keep us occupied just a little longer. It revolves around transition from the TE in FOTR to the EE. The question is was there a scene where you liked the way it was done in the TE better than the way it was done in the EE. I realize that the wording on this is confusing, so let me give you an example. In the scene where Galadriel gives Frodo the phial, I felt that they really nailed it in the TE when she said, "May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out." The way the music was done and everything was just haunting (even though this was not a huge scene in the movie. However, with the additional footage in the EE, the music was changed slightly, so there was different music at that one moment, and I like the original better. Another example is I like the "The Fellowship of the Ring Title" in the wood better than I did inside Bag-End (again, not a major scene in the film). So I was wondering if there were any others that you felt were either better or not as perfect in the EE.
I've been thinking about this because I'm highly anxious about one scene in TTT EE, seeing as that's the one I'm getting anyway. I saw from the preview of the EE that the Huorns will be involved at the Battle of Helm's Deep, which means extra footage. But my favorite moment in the film (music and all) is the charge down the mountainside, so I really hope they leave that "moment" exactly the way it is! Anyway, let me know your thoughts, and have fun w/ this one . . . take care everyone.
