Godfather I and II are the best mob movies ever made. No denying it.
I classify Scarface as more of a ganster movie personally.

yeah it depends on peoples opinions. I see gangster/mob/mafia as almost same thing.

It all does depend upon opinion. There's subtle differences between a Scarface and a Godfather in classification. Just in my sick twisted mind at least. :p

It was pretty solid and Oldman always rocks my world. Love that man, in a purely hetero-sexual way.

There was a mafia film made a while ago called 'Mobsters' with Christian Slater in it
This one told of real men, Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegal, Lucky Luchiano and Peter Costello.
That was a cool mob movie
Also
The Untouchables
Oscar (More a comedy but involves gangsters anyway)
Snatch/Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (British gangsters)

First off, you have to eliminate Godfather I and II because its like including Dracula in a best "Best Vampire Character" poll. As far as "Best Mob Movie" goes, there's the Godfather and THEN everything else.
So my favorite "Non-Godfather Mob Movies":
A Bronx Tale-That thing about women who unlock car doors for you is f***ing bible truth!!!!
Innocent Blood-A Mafia/vampire film. How brilliant is that?
Goodfellas-I've never laughed so hard at someone getting their head bashed in.
Side Note: Once Upon a Time in America, would've made my list but that Pan flute annoyed the s*it out of me throughout the whole film.

Gotta go with "The Godfather" and "Scarface."
"Suicide Kings" had sort of a mob theme to it. I liked it too.

i thought hoodlum was one of the worst movies i have ever seen! it was so boring and it just seemed like the director didnt know what they were doing, i dont know i thought it was horrible. it had a great cast though.
