I'm not real sure if this has been discussed before,so I brought it up.Did anyone notice that when Seraph fought Neo,he looked real good. But in the short clip in ETM when he fought Ballard,he looked kinda crapy. And when the Oracle said 2 programs sold her termination code to Merovingian to say their child, could this be Seraph(ya know,Seraph's dept with the Oracle)?

Ugh. I hate this theory. It is so stupid sounding.
Seraph is the Oracle's bodygaurd. That is what he is designed to do - protect the Oracle. That is his primary concern. The machines created him so he can secure the path of the one.

we dont now what he protects personally i think it is the future. Cause why all of a sudden the oracle has a bodygaurd and if she is part of the system why portection for what besides the merovingian well find out.

That's what the Revolutions story line in one of the other threads said. It could very well be possible. Although he does say "I am the Oracle's bodygaurd"

dude!
We've argued this one out, and he specifically avoids saying that. He protects "that which matters most". And if the movies have proven anything, its that if it is NOT specifically said, then it is probably NOT specifically true.
and sure he protects the oracle right now, but why call her "that which matters most"? There are two reasons not to state specifically what he protects: a) that he [i]actually[i] guards something else which apparently "matters most". or b) "that which matters most" is actually fluid, and not necessarily one program, or one thing, but a sequence of things.
I think ghost might be right, and that it is the future. He protects the oracle for just as long as it takes her to launch whatever it is she's scheming/planning, and once launched he protects whatever matters most to it's execution.
dogisburning, it's an interesting idea, that seraph is actually the child of two programs, and it has some interesting implications... i'm not sure if I subscribe to it, but it's definitely something to think about.

Here's a question - Why does Ballard see the Oracle?

Remember Morpheus askes a ship to stay in their place incase the Oracle contacts them, and Ballard agreed to see what Lock would do to Morpheus?Thats when Bane got copied by Smith,on their way back.

Holy crap, dude. Settle down.
What point would there be if Seraph beat down Ballard? or Neo? or Ghost? or Niobe?
He's not fighting them to win. Neo is the only one who could beat Seraph, presumably, and the other are nowhere near Neo's ability. He's fighting them to "know them".

I like the way you put that. He protects what matters most at any particular time in the grand scheme of things. It just so happened that at that particular moment in Reloaded, The Oracle mattered most.

Exactly. If he did as good as he did fighting Neo, he would of kicked Ballard's arse. And that's not the point.
He's kinda like some today's gaming AI, where it matches your ability. Thats what hes like. He's able to match your abilities and make it kinda even.
