What do you think about it. I just saw it for the first time like last week. It is very cool. I have been trying to find out info about the goings on behind the scenes. I heard Richard O'Brian was doing a sequel, but who knows.

Anything that makes normal grown men want to dress up in women's underwear is worth watching. Plus it's got the Time Warp song (damn it's in my head) and MEATLOAF!!!

I liked the music, but I think you have to be in some altered state or another to actually enjoy watching the movie. It just kind of left me saying "wha...?"

And boo to a remake.

There was a sequel in the 80's called Shock Treatment.

:mad: They need to leave theatrical genius alone! RHPS is one of my favorite movies, simply because it's so original. Who knew Tim Curry looked better in fishnets than me? ;) All kidding aside, it's a cult classic that needs to be left alone. I seriously doubt a remake could live up to the original and build such a following. It's truly an alternate universe to escape into when you need to. The songs are hilarious and the acting is great. Interesting story that stays with you. 9/10!

They shouldn't remake, cult clasics don't need to be remade they're cult clasics for a reason. I thought the movie was kinda cheesy but in a good way. The songs were really funny as well as the acting.

I wish no one mentioned the Time Warp song in this thread now I got it stuck in my head too, ahhh.

I saw it once back when it was one of those midnight movies on the weekends. Pretty close to unbearable.

it's really hard to explain. It's one of those movies that you just have to see and your basicly gonna either love it or hate it. I give it a 7.5/10
