One of the few zombie films made a mere
2 or 3 years after Romero's Night of The Living Dead.
If any film ever lays claim to having a " 1 in the morning with nothing better to watch on TV" feeling, this one fits the bill very well. Sort of a black comedy as well as a horror film.
The film's star, Alan Ormsby, later directed and wrote the remake of "The Cat People" in 1980 or 81', and along with partner Bob Clark, both went on to do work on all 3 Porky's movies. And Clark himself directed everyone's fave holiday film "A Christmas Story."
Now ask youself, do you STILL want that Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun? ;) Anyway, CSPWDT is a strange movie, and not a bad way to kill some time on some late night when you find yourself unable to sleep.
