Maybe that was a reference to Terminator 4 or 5 so Arnie could be a bad terminator once again and kill John

spiderman_2k
08-07-2003, 07:30 AM
Well if h does remeber he has to set up a trap to capture the Terminator...If they dont get him and re-program him..John would be killed by the TX in the past...

If john doesnt die in the future he wont lie in the past

redpill
08-07-2003, 07:34 AM

spiderman_2k
08-07-2003, 07:34 AM
Well all they need to do is catch The Terminator...John doesnt have to die...

redpill
08-07-2003, 07:39 AM
How do you thikn you could catch a terminator?? cause they have done it twice but how???????????????

spiderman_2k
08-07-2003, 07:41 AM
Im assuming some sort of EMP or taser thing that would knock it offline so they can re-program it....

redpill
08-07-2003, 07:54 AM

spiderman_2k

How is Arnold gonna do T4 if he's running for Governor

spiderman_2k
08-07-2003, 09:18 PM
He wont...as i have made very clear i feel he is not needed as a "key" character...maybe a cameo...

I was thinking about this scene too. And I thought the when the Terminator comes to kill him, John has to let him do it (since he's gonna know what he's there for) otherwise it creates this hughe paradox.

spiderman_2k
08-09-2003, 08:11 AM
Yes but the whole film is riveted with Paradoxes.....
I doubt he will die..It is only fitting that he is there for the end of the war he has been fighting against his whole life...

This would make a great movie.... hopefully they can incorporate it in T5 or T6

Terminator 3 is now on track to hit 200 million oversea this weekend. It looks like the film will have no problem getting to 500 million when adding both domestic and foreign boxoffice sales. Thats a long way from the budget of 250 million people said it would never pass. And this is without dvd, vcr, rentals, cable and tv sales. Arnold stated this week he made some 31 million dollars from "sixth day'. Except for a few movies most of his have being moneymakers. Does anybody know which one weren't. ARnold the man...in social issues, in movies, and now in politics.

I say that after the 3 future war movies...The machines win...It would be sooooooooo perfect

SkyNet
08-11-2003, 03:36 PM
that would make all 3 future war movies feel a little.......pointless almost???

but then again, it would shock the heck out of everyone to see it happen.

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 03:40 PM
Well mostow made Judgment Day happen in T3...so after that i wouldnt put anything past him...

Balrog of Moria
08-11-2003, 03:52 PM
It would be so great...Everything for nothing...The machines win

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 03:54 PM
Dont we win though??
Kyle says in the 1st one...I guess the time-line **** up may have changed it though...Not sure...

SkyNet
08-11-2003, 03:54 PM
that would make the Terminator series truly end with the "Rise of the Machines" and would be one of the only few movies to ever really end with humanity's extinction. :applaud:

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 03:57 PM
Problem is down the line we might see some dumb Terminator 7 or something like that...
"Terminator 7...Machines In Space"....:(

Also that raises another interesting point....After the extinction of Mankind what will the machines do??....The Borg in ST build cities and things...Think the "Terminators" would do this??

Balrog of Moria
08-11-2003, 04:24 PM
I dont think we'd ever see a terminator 7...Just wont happen...

And my guess is that after the machines win the war they would continue to expand theyre army...Running out of resources on Earth they would continue to venture into space...Skynet being the dominant force in the universe

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 04:34 PM
Like i said "Machines in Space"..:)
Skynet wouldnt care how long it takes to find a planet with resources...time doesnt matter to a machine....Im sure with its intelligence it could do it...this idea may sound stupid...but its what they would do i believe...

Balrog of Moria
08-11-2003, 04:36 PM
Colonization of deep space...It sounds like a very good idea yet I wouldnt want to see a movie with it...Possibly a series of novels

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 04:39 PM
Maybe, might drift into the areas that make The Terminator better then alot of other science fiction ideas though..

Balrog of Moria
08-11-2003, 04:49 PM
Meeting other life in space...Then the reader/viewer would need to decide if he wants the machines who wiped out humanity to win, or the advancing alien war machine

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 04:56 PM
Sounds slightly like Alien VS Terminator....
I would maybe read the books....but the thing would be what side would the story take??
Would it be Skynet flying through space...(would be very boring IMO, Skynet wouldnt do much apart from calculate...things)
Or would it be an alien planet who has picked up on the incoming hostile...(More interesting as we would learn about an Alien planet and new characters....)

SkyNet
08-11-2003, 04:59 PM
lol......that would be interesting, as in T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6 would have audiences hoping for the survival of the human race, then with T7: Machines in Space, audiences will hope the machines win and protect the Earth from invasion.

Star Wars anyone??

spiderman_2k
08-11-2003, 05:03 PM
Sod the earth..;)

Like we said, it would be great if the machines actually went into space...Attempting to dominate the universe...(good lord this sounds cheesy)

Balrog of Moria
08-11-2003, 05:11 PM
It sounds cheesy...But its all we have :(

SkyNet
08-11-2003, 05:12 PM
It should be called:

Terminator 7: Rise of the Machines in Space: Judgment Day 2
