cool. i think that this is a good thing they're doing, seeing that there's not too much publicity for ROTK

This positively gushing [although rather elongated] TTT EE DVD review is from chud.com. :) I tried posting the entire article on the forum but it exceeded comingsoon.net's maximum 200000 character limit!

I think the only really important bit of that review is at the very bottom Smeagol ;) -

THE FLICK: 9.5
THE LOOK: 10
THE NOISE: 10
THE GOODIES: 10
THE ARTWORK: 9.5
OVERALL: 10

:applaud:

I seriously believe that just as over the past 50 years Citizen Kane continues to almost universally top 'greatest film' polls, so the Special Extended Editions of LOTR will, collectively be seen as the definitive DVD's. There is so much quality on all levels, and simply so much included, that they will be the standadr next to which all other DVD's are judged for the enxt 50 years. No doubt.

I noticed before Viggo had a bit of a gap in his teeth, but I'd never seen such a huge chip in his front tooth like that! Do you think it happened during the Helm's Deep shooting or something?

that's certainly a cool pic. i think he chipped the tooth when he was shooting the battle with the Uruks at the end of FOTR, at Amon Hen
