Wow the comp actually scored me a damn good team. Now we'll see if I can finish closer than 2nd. I still can't believe I lost by only six points last time

Hey Tardumb.
Just FYI, I'm dogbert0228. AOF's my team. What's everyone think of the league so far?

So far it's been good. It'll get a lot better when Berkman gets his ass in gear and starts putting the bat on the ball.
BTW, I was in the army with a guy from Port Orchard, WA.

I just now have realized the advantage of having a fairly small league. THE FREE AGENT MARKET! Wow, when I was looking to dump a few guys the other day, I found some awesome replacements. The one that's really cool is Rocco Baldelli. No one darfted this guy because he's a rookie, and plays for the Devil Rays. Maybe no one in the league has dumped any players because we're still in the first month, but check out some of the free agents. Baldelli has been tearing up the opposition down in Florida, and hopefully he'll continue that all season. It's the perfect time of year, in my opinion, to pick up some guys like Baldelli and get rid of a guy like Steve Finley, in my case. Yes, Finley's a veteran with a great career, but he was off to such a slow start, that even if he does turn it around, he still won't be much more than average this season at best. Hey, I'm even looking to trade Ichiro, so if anyone's interested and have one or two guys of to great starts, E-mail me. This league will be mine for the taking. The season really is won or lost in April, so start dumping the guys that are pulling you down now and take advantage of this deep free agent market.
Oh, and BTW, anyone with guys like Jeter and Sasaki who have gone down early, I laugh, a lot, because it really sucks for you all. And TxFlmMkr, I'm looking forward to beating you this week. I'm already out to a 5-0 lead, and only one of my player's was active yesterday.
One last helpful hint for anyone not aqainted with Seattle this year, although I have him right now, I might find someone batter later in the year, take a look at Willie Bloomquist. A homegrown product of Port Orchard and member of SK's 1996 State Championship team, with success as a college player at Arizona.

Now, when you say "TOO," you mean, "in addition" don't you? Well, last time I checked, Arkansas Attitude was in last place. But Maybe you'll make a last-minute comeback...
J/k I was checking out what we all said at the beginning of the season, and I had to pick on the last place team :)

Not any more. Tex's Astrofans win the championship after finishing the regular season 71 games out!
Too bad the real Astros weren't as lucky.
