A good idea for releasing the Next One

DONT RELEASE IT!!! The Two Towers couldnt have gotten any worse!!! Elves at helms deep? I bet on the next one they are gonna have Jedi coming in and saving Frodo and Sam from the Shelob. And then they are gonna have E.T. throw the ring into Mount Doom and then they are gonna have a sweet scene where E.T. sticks his glowing finger on Frodo's head and his heart starts glowing. (Awwwwwwww!!! NOT!!! :mad: ) I swear, Treebeard looks likes a ****in hand puppet. The only good part of the whole movie was when Legolas' brother died in Helms Deep. He shouldnt have been there from the start!!! I really hope they dont release the next one!!! It's gonna be crap.

I respect your opinion but I have to say that my opinion is completely opposite. If you don't like the movies, read the books again.

Me, I can't wait till the next ones comes out! And yes, I was a bit disappointed with some of the scenes from the book that were not in the movie, but still, that movie kicked a$$!

TTT was a soooo much better then the book ...the book is good but how boring it would have been if the movie was too faithful ... all the changes were amazing IMO ... its all nicer and much easier too understand for those who didnt read the books ...

I do not agree that the movie would be boring if it followed the book,I mean if it was just like the book....I found the book extremely exciting and fun.damn,whats wrong with the book,and so good about the movie???!!!just becuz you need to use your brain a little oftener than the usual doesnt make it bad or boring!!!!I didnt like the changes,true,but the movie was definitely better than the 1st one

if the movie had followed the books exactly the movies would have been hours upon hours longer and therefore mind-numbing

the books are perfect...you can read them and put them down when you like so it makes reading them easier:rolleyes:

I agree with that.Im reading ROTK right now,and its great....im so slow but honestly,I dont give a damn....if I want to I can read it the whoooole year til the ROTK comes out....I read the two towers in 3 days though....well,I was on holidays so I wasnt that busy....

and i wouldn't mind them a bit longer either but in FOTR i'm glad they didn't have the beginning exactly like the book..it was to long and it was boring in some parts. there are to many characters in the books and trying to keep up with them ALL would have been tedious

Yah, if they would have put all that Shire stuff in, it would have lost so many people. They needed something quick and full of plot to draw everyone in.

these are things that really annoyed me in the movie (ttt):
1.the part with treebeard-he should not be the one to save them from grishnakh.The rohan riders should've killed him (grishnakh i mean)thats for one thing.for another treebeard was awful and they've totally screwed up that part....they could have made it 1000times better.but thats just IMO.
2.aragorn falling down into the river.....it was okay,but made up.but fine,it wasnt bad
3.the battle at the helms deep.it was really spectacular,true,but the elves???why???why not the trees???and there is one little question -in the book eomer was already fighting in the battle,he didnt come with gandalf,right??the one who came with gandalf was erkenbrand,or whatever his name was,right??and in the movie,gandalf came with eomer,RIGHT???that confused me.
4.Faramir wanting to take the ring to gondor....it should not have been that way!!!faramir was stronger than his brother and he just wanted to know what was it what frodo had and sam told him ,by accident,and when he found out he DID NOT try to take it....nor were sam and frodo taken to Osgiliath.they just saw it on their way to Cirith Ungol....
5.legolas is the only elf that looks nice in the movie!they should all be beautiful,and they are not!especially not haldir or elrond....well,that was what I didnt like in FOTR,too....

you've probably discussed all this stuff before but I just saw the movie a few days ago.these were the things that I didnt like.but all in all,it was AWESOME!!my friend and I cried!dont know why,to be honest....well,ok she cried when theoden cried.that part was sad.
When I got back home from the cinema,I couldnt stopped talking about the movie and the book and everything!!!I think Im REALLY obsessed
And one more things-i didnt like gollums song when I first heard it but now when I saw the movie I like it!!Smeagol is soooo cute!!!

Okay, since I am NOT going to quote that all, Yeah, I was pretty mad about the changes, but some are for the better. I mean, people went "whoa" just with Treebeard, think about how puzzled they would be if the Huorns or whatever those other trees things are came and helped. Plus, it added to the drama when Eomer came at the last minute. And yes, I didn't like the Faramir thing, but at least they got it right in the end.
So it was FOTR, they made changes, some good, some bad, but you get used to them

And I liked Treebeard personally.
