Plot Summary:
Madeleine Olnek's wryly funny mash-up of New York romantic comedy and 1950s sci-fi spoof.
Three extraterrestrials from the planet Zots are sent on a mission to rid themselves of romantic emotions, which are considered toxic to their planet's atmosphere. They are told to have their hearts broken on Earth, where such heartbreak is considered a given. Promiscuous and sassy Zylar (Jackie Monahan) and the ever-clingy Barr (Cynthia Kaplan) unfortunately fall in love with each other, while Zoinx (Susan Ziegler) meets Jane (Lisa Haas), a mild-mannered Earthling who lives an uneventful life and works in a stationary store. Unaware that the sudden object of her affection is from outer space (despite her bald head and monotone speech), Jane falls hard for Zoinx. The feeling is mutual.
Meanwhile, two undercover government agents (Alex Karpovsky and Dennis Davis) are following Jane in order to find the spaceship and cover up the aliens' existence. Their bizarre, comical espionage reveals itself to be something other than what it seems...
