Plot Summary: "Eastbound and Down" co-creator Jody Hill is writing and attached to direct an untitled action project set in the American South. The plot is being kept under wraps, but the story is set in the 1970s South and involves an outlaw duo.

It is rumored that the project could become a reboot of "The Dukes of Hazzard," originally a 1979-85 CBS series that starred Tom Wopat and John Schneider as adventure-loving cousins in Georgia who drove a Dodge Charger nicknamed the General Lee.
